I downloaded this app solely for the purpose of a small cash advance which I never took out to begin with. They set automatic payment withdraws for a savings and investment accounts with Albert. They were taking money each day. I figured out how to turn this off and attempted to cancel the account, but they won’t cancel until you withdraw the funds they stole from you. Funny thing is, not all of the money they took is available same day. Each day I have to go back in to see if there’s at least $2 available to withdraw because they won’t allow the full balance at once. That’s where they get you because by the time it takes for them to allow your funds be available for withdraw, your past the trial date and they charge you $98. I will be calling my bank to dispute the charge and will ALWAYS tell people how horrible of an experience this company has made. From the other reviews, I’m obviously one of many that feel this way.
Oh where do I even start? So I was actually doing great with budgeting this month until I go to check out my groceries in the grocery store and I realize that my account has been completely robbed. Albert stole not only $96 but 96+ $11 for some kind of savings account. I had no idea I even signed up for this. I’m not exactly sure what their company does since I can’t get anyone on the telephone and all I can get is a text message telling me that it’ll be six days at least I am screwed. This is the absolute worst company I cannot even believe this is legal and my next stop is the BBB.
Product team isn’t awake at all. The app failed to validate my identity (for reasons unknown) and there is a limit to the number of tries. Once you exceed that limit, you can never ever try again and never create an account. After reading some of the other reviews, I’ll take it as a blessing in disguise. I probably dodged a bullet not being able to create the account.
Downloaded and signed up for Albert because I was in need of cash & had burned my bridges with Earnin and Dave. Mind you, their verification process was the same. I somehow changed my direct deposit & when I woke up on May 4, 2023 - my paycheck had been deposited into Albert. I added their virtual card to my Apple Wallet and attempted to transfer the funds out, and the transaction was declined. However, the money was still taken out of the Albert account. $786. Ive been in contact with Apple Support and they've all told me, that the transaction failed and that the funds should be back in the account. Ive also been texting with one of Albert's alleged "GENIUSES" and they just keep telling me that it's apple's responsibility to release the funds. And that it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to go back. Furthermore, they keep saying I need to provide proof that apple released the funds so they can "investigate". There is no number to call them and speak with anyone. I'm not sure what they did, but they are holding my funds hostage. i still a week later have no idea where my money has went. I have reported them to the BBB. i've been getting off too late from work. But in the morning I'm calling the FFIC to report them and find out if they are fraudulent. I'm not letting this situation go and If i have to file a criminal report I will. DO NOT USE ALBERT. Not sure how these people are still in function, but I'm making it my Life's mission to get them shut down.

I used Albert for over 1 year they cant follow through with there advertisement. There staff isnt helping, they simply dont do it for you and send complicated text messages on how to access your account and do it yourself. I'm having a lot of trouble now extracting the money I had in there saving account and cant get help. There genius team is fake and never assisted me and there customer service is horrible. I think it's an over seas call center or chat bot. A truly incompetent manager is over seeing this and I'm repeatedly asking for help resolving my problem! Not getting proper assistance!
Terrible!!!! ATTENTION! There were payments made by Albert Genius and Albert Savings Web to my Union Bank account that I NEVER set up nor did I ever have an account with you. I've since closed the bank account and disputed all the charges. You performed fraud and I will be reporting this to the FTC and I don't know how you got my bank account # etc
