I had some difficulty with this review because I did not realise that the Abebooks ORDER No. and the Abebooks SALES No. are two different things. So, after looking through all my emails for 667081316, and not finding anything like it I emailed Awesome Books and said I thought they must be in error, but they smashed me down (they all do) and gave me chapter and verse and I see that they are indeed right under Sales Order No. 723045595. The book was "In Dark Water: A compulsive Scottish detective novel (Detective Shona Oliver)" by Lynne McEwan. It arrived in its own good time but I have no idea which of the many Couriers brought it. It was well packed (they usually are, no matter who the bookseller is) and was in excellent condition. I never did finish the tale because the author's talent for describing corruption and depravity at all levels conjured up such a picture of the Government we have had since that awful referendum that I could not continue. The book will go to our local Charity hop and some brave soul with a stronger constitution than mine will no doubt appreciate it.
