At first when I saw and read the limitations I thought the visitor card would not bring any value but after reading and studying in depth the access to some of the museums in Barcelona it brought great value to our trip. For example going to Montserrat takes a lot of time and money and if you take into account the possibility going by bus it cuts away the time need to change train from Barcelona with the funicular. Thus you could spend 100 euros for 5 attractions instead of 200 euros and this is a bargain from my point of view.
We got the Barcelona card for 5 days and really enjoyed the activities we chose. We tried things we would not normally do if we were paying for each thing individually. We were able to explore so many more sites knowing the cost to us was not the full ticket price. The guided activities were led by top notch guides. We enjoyed our time in the city so much more with the pass. We stayed longer in Barcelona than we originally planned because of the pass. Some of the tour content overlapped with the content of other tours but we would still have done both again because the format was different (walking tour vs. bike tour vs. Segway tour). It was also very easy to use the pass to check into the activity. We appreciated the reminder emails received the day prior to the activity which confirmed the meeting times and locations.
I purchased a 10 visits experience pass. I got to do 10 of the things in the big list of attraction and I save some good money. Some things to know: no problem to use the pass in order to take tickets, descriptions on the attraction in the app could be more specific about what you get (for exemple no sunset hours on the top of the rock). The pass doesn't give you any skipe the line advantage, you use the pass instead of paying. I couldn't find a way to know how many attractions are left in the pass and what tou did (sent two emails and no reponse). You're a bit on your own, but the saving is real.
Planning was incredibly easy! Most places that took reservations would honor even if you were a few minutes late or even early. It was very easy to use and everyone at every venue we went to was super helpful

In terms of what the go-city pass promises you, it does! you just have to be punctual about planning what activities you will do and at what times, also reserve the things that need reservation before arrival. It saves money if you can do multiple activities in one day. otherwise, if you're a spontaneous traveler or prefer to do your own thing @ your own time, don't buy it and just make your own plan.
Good information in the website, easy to book attraction’s , for some of the attractions you need to go to their place and book them there. No issues with the reservations, it is good if you do not have much time and book only a number of attractions, it will save you money.
We used the GoCity pass during a quick trip to Boston. It was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to those traveling to the area.
