Worst comunication with Clara. Also they are trying to cheat with payments for transportation to abroad.

What an appalling experience!

What an appalling experience! I purchased a conference table with two central power supply from Clippings after getting in touch with one of their sales representatives, who mislead me into believing the supplier was quoting him 4-6 weeks lead-time, shorter than what was advised on their website. He then proceeded to send us a link to the item on their website and suggested I'd place the order online. This was the 19th of April and the order was confirmed by Clippings a few days later, on the 24th. Until here, nothing was out of the ordinary. I let four weeks pass and I contacted customer support to receive an update on the delivery date - I was told the item wasn't ready yet and that there would be some delays. They eventually received the item in their warehouse on the 24th of June and they asked me only then to confirm a date and details for the delivery. It was a Friday and by the time I received their email and replied asking for the delivery to happen on Monday, a request that presumably reached them too late and this did not happen - further delaying the delivery date. What happened instead is that they started commenting on the difficulties their team would have encountered because of the size and the weight of the table. Yes, they realised the size and the weight of the table 9 weeks into this painful process. Now suggesting that they will have sent one of their team next week (again) on the 4th of July for a site survey. I am all in favour of safety, but with all the time that had passed, I suspected that this was an excuse not to allocate workforce for the delivery in the first place. They eventually turned around after my complaints and the table was delivered on the 4th of July... but IT WAS NOT THE RIGHT TABLE: the table top was plain, with no power supply! Mind that in the order confirmation, the picture was that of the one we expected to receive!!! After getting in contact with them they argued that they offer different designs for many of their products and that I should have enquired about the power supply when ordering. THERE IS NO OPTION GIVEN ON THEIR WEBSITE, nor suggestions about the different designs, nor extra cost for different designs. I spoke with a sales representative on the day of the purchase, I mentioned exactly what I was looking for and he directed me to their website, without mentioning that the pictures were only for reference of a possible design!!! Now, Clippings has failed to find a solution: they told us that we could order a second table and that they would arrange a discounted price. I am now stuck with an incomplete product, 13 weeks after I place the order. What really annoys me is that they find it acceptable to use on their selling platform 'pictures for reference' for items that they don't intend to produce! And blaming the customer for failing to inform them of the desired product specification... also when the picture on the order confirmation is what one should expect! I have been emailing them for a month, I don't believe that any of my complaints have been taken seriously and nothing has been resolved. They stopped replying to my emails in August. Nonetheless, the table is already showing scratches, and in some parts the finish is dented. Bear in mind that we only use the table to run meetings. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Really poor customer service. Virtually impossible to get a response in a timely manner from the customer service team.

Fantastic company

Fantastic company! I’ve delt with this company 3 times, one was a moroso sofa, made in Italy, sent to clippings and on to me in Northern Ireland, absolutely faultless, Lizzie in customer service could not have been nicer, guided me with updates and appointed a fantastic courier company to my home, WILL buy again without any hesitation at all, id award 6 stars if I could.

Avoid - Get the same products elsewhere

Nice products. Terrible customer service. I ordered a few nice things from Clipping. In one instance, some parts of the order were missing. Clippings refused to provide the missing parts because the courier company had fraudulently signed for the delivery. I'd suggest you use their website to browse for products and then order them from a reputable company to save yourself the trouble when things go wrong.
