I have been using Daily Burn since 2017. They have never charged me more than their expected monthly fee. I love DB365, their show that alternates live workouts with taped so that we can do a different workout each day, and has a Facebook group to support the community using the app. I was sad to see they obviously got into a compromising situation with another company here that earned them some bad reviews. Business partnerships can sometimes be a bad deal. Thought I’d put in a good word for the company and share my two cents.
I really like Daily Burn. The instructors are upbeat and fun, and knowledgeable. They make working out fun because they're always encouraging and again just positive people. The site has a wide variety of workout types including strength, cardio, boxing/kickboxing, tabata, HiiT, Metcon, dance, low impact, yoga, pilates, bodyweight, etc. Specific programs a la Beachbody are offered as well. There's workouts for beginners through experienced, an extensive library and a filter search option by type, difficulty, length, instructor... I stream through Roku and search is limited to one filter at a time but helps. Not sure the functionality on other platforms. Production quality and sound are really good. I do wish there were longer workouts. The majority are @30 min. I'm still very happy and for the reasonable subscription cost it's worth it. As an aside, I highly recommend Les Mills and rate it the absolute best subscription.
Two months of charges appeared on our bank statement that we did not make. After contacting their customer service, we found out it was connected to an email address that was not ours. They promptly and courteously refunded those charges. No idea how it happened, (and we had our bank close that card, of course), but I'm quite happy with their customer service!
I haven't actually used Daily Burn, so I can't speak to the app. But someone else did use my credit card to pay for several months of the app. When I discovered the situation and contacted the Daily Burn company by email they refunded the charges for multiple months. Very glad to have my money back. Note: you do need to contact the company via email. They don't seem to have a phone number for customer support.
So far so good. The workouts are great with level of difficulty clearly stated on each one and there's a huge variety. I really love the amount of workouts that don't require equipment as I travel frequently. I also love the short 20 minute workouts that use complex moves to work multiple muscle groups...they really fit my lifestyle. The 10 minute toning workouts are also great to squeeze in after jumping off the elliptical. That said, it looks like everyone's complaints are about cancelling the service...I haven't attempted that yet but it looks like if I decide to cancel I'll have to pay close attention. Update 9/30/2021: I figured I'd post an update for anyone interested. I haven't cancelled because I still really like it. I have never been charged fraudulently (though I will definitely look back through all my charges just to make sure in light of the alarming reviews). But the product is great. I really like the variety of workouts and the instructors and how they keep me on track.
