Edabit – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

It is weird how only very recently there started to pop-up reviews with the 120 USD charge. I am victim of this as well. Few days ago, unexpectedly wihtout any warning, I was charged 120 USD. I was not even aware I had auto-renewal on this, as I did not use this site for probably 9 months or so. After trying to reach out to them via e-mail and online form multiple times. I even tried to call on their phone number. Guess what - nothing works. In other words - at all costs, avoid this scam website!

Sent 3 messages requesting a refund as I was charged $120 unexpectedly. No response at all, not even an auto generated email confirming they received the messages.

i cancelled long ago. They then charged me on the rolling period. I sent 5 messages from their message portal for a refund with no response. I sent emails to them with no response. I WIll have to now go legal route.

Good coding exercises but I'd never recommend a platform that doesn't answer any customer support messages. Edabit uses outdated language versions which leads to having to solve some problems twice and in a more tedious way. This is currently a problem for both Swift and Ruby, and I imagine all the rest too. I made the mistake of paying for a lifetime membership. Don't make my mistake and use free sites like 'Codewars' instead.
