Epson – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Wanted a high quality A3 printer but the Epson I bought has been nothing but trouble. The software keeps tripping over itself producing unexpected results. It is far too complex and clearly hasn't been checked and quality assured. I spend hours on the Web and viewing Utube videos to get the thing to work again. Today, for example I tried to scan a document to my computer (it sits alongside). It does one page and then decides it can't find my computer. I have to switch it off and restart to scan the next page... I frequently have to remove he printer from my Windows 11 computer and then add it again and restart my computer to get the wretched thing to work. Almost forgot, the print quality is poor, the head frequently gets gummed up and smears the prints. Cleaning the head manually is tedious and time consuming - the built-in cleaning function consumes ink but achieves very little else. When I bought it I just wanted a printer that worked. My trusty old Canon did this for years with no hassle. I regret the day I bought it and will never, never buy an Epson again.

Ich habe jahrelang HP Drucker gehabt, nie mehr, erstens sind die Patronen viel zu teuer und zweitens sperrt HP die Drucker, wenn man keine Original Patronen verwendet. Ich habe mir den Epson ET 4800 gekauft. Bin super zufrieden. Außerdem sind die Nachfüllflaschen für den Drucker absolut erschwinglich und haben einen guten Preis. Ich kann Epson Ecotank auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und bereue, dass ich mir nicht schon früher einen gekauft habe.

All my contacts via phone and email with Epson provided me with lots of prompt and courteous help and support. I felt that the flat-rate charge of £132 was reasonable, the printer was collected by DPD when I was told it would be and it was returned a week later repaired. There was lots of guidance on how to pack the printer, etc. My whole experience with Epson was positive.

I had connectivity issues with my Epson printer and was reluctant to call Epson support due the the poor reviews I had read. At the end I had no choice. I called and was pleasantly surprised. Wait time was short (less than 5 minutes). A first responder transferred me quickly to a more senior staff member who walked me through a complex series of updating the printer drivers and the problem was resolved.

I have a 20 year old Epson 2400 Photo Scanner which wouldn't wouldn't connect with my 2021 MacBook M1 running the latest macOS. So I checked the Epson support site and sure enough, an up to date, easy to find driver is available which installed in seconds and works perfectly! So many companies drop support for older machines: Epson are to be commended in this instance.
