:) Guter Kundenservice!

I've been a happy Evernote customer for many years and always recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their stuff organized. As a self-employed person, I subscribed a few years ago to an annual package. But recently I got sick and my business has dropped so much that I can't afford it right now. According to their refund policy for an annual plan, any request must be submitted within 60 days of payment. Unfortunately, that slipped my mind and I was [just] 3 days late. After an e-mail discussion with Arlyz U. and a copy of my medical certificate, in order to prove my goodwill (he never asked me to do this), he obtained a complete picture of my personal situation and made a single exception in my favor. I very much appreciate their commercial gesture and will for sure appreciate their solutions as soon as I am back in business. As an "early" adopter (I mean since 2015), I'm a little sad about what I'm reading here. I don't judge anyone and to be honest, I moved on a while ago. So far, I still haven't found a satisfactory alternative, except for some expensive, immature and/or unreliable alternatives. Since its inception, Evernote has had great business potential. But I regret that this is not so much the case today. While they changed the game about 10 years ago, today they are failing to renew or even improve their offer. What I like: - 5 star support for paid users - Tree-organized tags/labels/categories ecosystem - Partial GTD compliance (Getting Things Done / David Allen) - Simple / print-ready web capture (via browser extension) like Print Friendly & PDF, Pocket and OneNote - Huge cloud storage capacity - Interoperability: messaging clients, IFTTT, API ... What I do not like : - My premium subscription was downgraded to a personal subscription without any discount - No direct tax exemption for EU companies - Quite CPU and memory intensive desktop and PWA clients on older systems and slow connections Bottom line: - If you are a small business or freelancer, I would recommend the $60/year plan. Their tagging, snippet, and search features are really great. You'll get what you pay for as long as you feed the beast decent, light-hearted content. - If you are an individual, try it and see how it helps you in your daily habits. - If you are a large company, I cannot really testify since I am only a small one. Chat with their advertisements and look for testimonials on some sites like this.

I have been using Evernote for a long time as a free user, and recently upgraded to paid. Overall, I've been pretty happy with it. I like that it easily syncs with all of my devices. The interface is a little cluttered, but it may just be a learning curve for me to figure out how to best stay organized. Search is easy, so for the most part I've been able to organize my notes pretty well.

I use Evernote quite often but the free version is quite bugged: 1. Typing on iPhone 7 works super slowly. 2. Something is wrong with ordered / unordered lists. 3. Sometimes something is wrong with tags. 4. Generally this app works quite slowly on iPhone 7. If these bugs will be fixed I can consider giving a better review. -------------------- EDIT: Now Evernote is patched and works well. Now it is a very useful app. Thanks.
