their costemer service were so kind and helpful. and to split my order from 6 nights in an expensive hotel to 3 nights (twice) at a cheaper one and they helped me and gave an immediate refund. plus, i was pleased with the hotels they recommended. thank you! my trip to london was great and i know for sure i'll book with you next time. Booked a hotel with Hotwire. We were guaranteed a double bed but the hotel only had single bed rooms left. We wrote Hotwire and they refunded the stay so we could book something new. Relatively fast response on chat.

Overall a good experience but I would do some research before booking the hotwire rate to be sure you know which hotel you will get.

We rent a car. The car was what we paid for. We didn't pay any extra charge. The rental agency didn't ask us for extra money, nor hotwire. We made a phone call to the custom service because of a problem of us, they helped us as much as possible; during the conversation, the call accidentally ended, so they phoned us back immediately.

Well fello travelor, my experience with Hotwire was dismal and handled like cheets were driver my the plane. We booked 3 days in San Antonio, TX in March for 3 days and weeks were promised that our rooms would either be a Days Inn, Home Suites, Wyndam Super 8, or comparable. If comparable meant a Dump (mold in bathroom, brok n TV, 3 wall lights not working, burned spots on comforter and just a general state to f filth) then they were exactly on track as the condition was as listed in above. My card had already been charged, but the desk clerk ran my card again, but reversed that after I refused to accept the room, then further promised that Hotwire would refund our prepaid charges prior to seeing the room. I took a room in a close by Redroof Inn which was no it new but it was clean and everything was clean. Hotwire initially said they would refund our deposit but have not since our reservation on March 15, 2022. Don't waste your time or treasure with these crooks!

The lowest rates and best rooms available. Can't beat the prices. Customer service is very friendly and cares deeply about your travel experience. I am always satisfied with the quality of this app. Try them out!

Not sure why everyone is leaving bad reviews for hotwire - I've had some great deals from the company in the past. In Europe I saved some serious cash on hotels (I had a room worth $350 USD a night for under $150 a night on hotwire). I've saved tons of money on rental cars too under their hot deals - often times more than several hundred dollars compared to competitors. Obviously you need to be careful because you cannot be refunded for any of these rooms or cars.

I wanted to reach out to consumers who visit here regarding Hotwire on behalf of myself and my own experience. What I am about to say comes from what I have learned about the company during my recent experience which may be found on multiple platforms online after having a very bad experience with the company. I am in no way affiliated with Hotwire, I am not a spokesman, but I am honest. Therefore I state the following: Like most of you here, I had experienced a negative situation when using Hotwire which I spent weeks trying to get corrected. After multiple contacts and much frustration getting no where with customer service I was finally able to reach the head of the company to present my experience. To my surprise I learned that hundreds of thousands of consumer reviews generate daily and my particular situation, though well worded and true, was not explained to a concise understanding which led to the delayed misunderstanding of terms. I want to state that upon talking to the actual company and not some of their employees who are pre-programmed to recite the same responses for general scenarios, that I in fact was able to get my matter personally resolved which has renewed my faith in the company. I am not saying that every scenario is the same or can be rectified but I will say that the company has displayed a sense of understanding and compassion and despite numerous other times saying no, once they had a better understanding of the event that they were more likely to help.

2 months ago I posted hotwire would not give a refund on a non cancellable car rental for this summer. Today I received an email saying the refund has been approved. Needed to update and say they came though. Thank you hotwire.

Dear hotwire, We booked a hotel traveling 85 South around Spartanburg and by the time we got an answer, we were booked at a Baymont 20 miles backward and then on I26. Weary travelers at 11 pm after 11 hours driving do not want to turn around and go backwards through some of the worst construction, so we immediately said no. After being hung up on, put on hold and spending another hour with customer service, we were advised only $38 of $58 could be given in "hot dollars" as if we'd use this site again and they automatically keep$20! You took time off my life, money out of my pocket and ruined my holiday trip. It is my mission to let everyone know about your policies including highway robbery and tormenting the weary travelers!
