I bought the Mountain Star 2-person tent in 2022. I used it on one backpacking trip (3 nights). I take good care of my gear. While on the trip the outer tent bag developed a rip from the blunt end of the tent poles (which were inside their own bag that they arrived in). I filled out a warrant form when I got home and this is the response I received: "While we don't have a different weight of tent bag, a lot of us actually use a roll top dry bag instead of the stuff sack so that you can get better compression as well as have a bit better durability from the bag for long term use. A Large roll top bag works for the Mountain Star tent with the only caveat being that you will need to keep your pole set separate of the tent (which is something personally recommend to begin with for easier storage of the gear inside of a pack)." I told them that their Lifetime Warranty is very misleading when they told me that it does not cover "wear and tear". I said, "I only used it on one trip." I paid a lot of money for this tent. I expected they would just send a new bag. Really poor customer service! I would never buy anything from them again. My husband is an avid hunter and I would also never let him buy anything from Kuiu. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. GIVE SOMEONE ELSE YOUR BUSINESS.

Beware of their "Lifetime warranty" which states "this warranty lasts for the lifetime of the product"! I purchased a guide jacket in 2011 and only wore it casually--never on a hunt. Recently I packed it for a trip and found that the glue on the seams around the arm vent zippers failed on both arms. After contacting customer service to make a claim on the lifetime warranty, I was told, hey, it's 11 years old and "Industry wide, the average lifespan of a softshell jacket is roughly six to seven years as has been compared with Arcteryx, Patagonia, and other top level brands across the industry." Nowhere on the Kuiu website do they state that the lifetime of their softshell jackets are an industry average 6-7 years. They referred me to a third-party repair service who has quoted me approximately $50/arm plus shipping. Lesson learned: not only does Kuiu fail to honor their warranty (they've breached the warranty), but their products are crap. I have a Sitka softshell jacket purchased 1 year before and which I have worn on elk, geese, grouse, pheasant hunts and the seams are fine.

I bought a pair of shorts only because everyone online was swearing up and down about how great they are and only 5 star ratings. For $100 you would certainly hope so. They are true to size, they feel good so far. The only thing is the pockets are too small for my hand to fit into. It is a struggle trying to get my hands into the pockets and also out of them. My hands are no bigger than average. Small pockets with zipper, make pockets an inch wider bigger. If you want something done right you have to design clothes yourself or make alterations.

Bought the super down ultra jacket from Kuiu even though I’ve had mixed success with their products in the past (too small for size, flimsy construction). From the moment I put the jacket on I was surprised at how noisy it was. Two years on it has not softened up. It is MUCH noisier than Patagonia and Rab puffy jackets that I wear around town and for skiing respectively. I have had an elk guide ask me to remove it on the trail because of how loud it is. Eventually I decided to return it. When I called customer service a rep told me “the jacket was only for sedentary use and that it said so on the website!” Wrong on both counts and frankly insulting that he would say something so ridiculous- KUIU gear is (supposed to be) specifically made for high exertion hunting! At any rate since returning the jacket I have heard nothing from them for 6 weeks other than “wait some more”. This company is a joke. Don’t buy their clothing- they don’t stand behind it!

Rubbish, they just don’t respond to issues with orders Had to place two new orders (one cancelled but they delivered anyway!) to replace and these were also unacceptable upon receipt Just want a collection and refund not too much to ask Ps this is a foreign company and they use eshopworld to deliver who are equally as bad! Waste of money, dispute opened

Excellent service and personal help and assistance via mail. International delivery. Not the last time I'll buy my hunting apparal there!! 5 stars for sure!

This company will bombard you with adverts, like 3-4 every day. When you try to order their products the website fails to process it and directs you to contact customer service which is nigh on impossible to do. The website is a joke and best avoided.

Tras pagar los gastos de devolución remití la prenda a la dirección que constaba en la etiqueta de devolución que ellos mismos te mandan. Nada, hoy a 4 de febrero no tengo la prenda, ni tengo el reembolso, y no contestan a mis correos ni me dan ninguna explicación. Solo he logrado contactar una vez con ellos por Instagram y sigo sin respuesta. Son prendas caras y esperaba una mejor calidad en el servicio y atención al cliente.Muy mal mi experiencia.Si aciertas la talla todo genial, si tienes que devolver fatal.

Returned my two packages a week befores christmas. According to GLS, they arrived 2 days later in France. Since then I haven't heard anything - it's been 6 weeks now! I've been in touch with customer service, who keeps giving me no respons. Everything is taking forever! Last I heard they would check the tracking details with EShopWorld- that was a week ago. Still haven't heard anything. The respons is, that they are busy handling returns. But they still send me 'deals' on email. Busy selling, and not handling returns ... Absolutely worst customer service I've ever experienced! I'll be surprised if I ever see my 1500 $ (9.000 DKK) again!
