Amika – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Terrible customer service. Received damaged hair conditioner product. Tube was broken at both ends. Could not use product. I have been a customer for several years. I have sent several emails over last 4 months and no response. Tried to call and message stated they could not answer the phone and that I needed to send an email. Which they do not respond to. Very frustrating!

I almost didn't order from Amika given the shocking reviews on Trustpilot. However, I couldn't fault my experience. I ordered the Jumbo Waver about 9pm on 15th December and it arrived before 12 noon the following morning. I was kept informed of the delivery and the item was as described. I can only guess that some of the bad reviews are because Amika doesn't actively email asking customers to leave a review so perhaps the only people who can be bothered to do so are the few who have had a bad review.

Loyal Amika customer here. Don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve been ordering from Amika for years and have always been satisfied with their products. My orders usually arrive within a week, correctly fulfilled and packaged well and never had a reason to contact customer service. Love Amika!

I ordered my products and they arrived promptly the next day. I had a couple of questions about my new routine so I went on to customer services and spoke to someone using the chat function who was super helpful. And lastly, it’s incredible stuff. My bleached dry frizzy hair is now sleek and soft and strong. I can’t believe how good it is.

Having read the other poor Trustpilot reviews re delivery/service it nearly put me off ordering from the Amika website and if the sites I usually order hair products from had had everything I wanted I genuinely would have bought them elsewhere but they didn't. So, I went ahead with my order from the Amika website on the basis that the products themselves are well reviewed elsewhere. So, I just wanted to share my positive experience to hopefully provide some reassurance (I can only speak for myself of course) and a slightly more balanced insight. I placed my order yesterday morning (in the UK) and it arrived this afternoon (free next day delivery was included, possibly due to the value of the order). The email updates kept me informed about the delivery and my parcel arrived well packaged and as expected. I can't comment on the products themselves yet (as I've not used them yet) but wanted to provide a genuine review as to the fact I got what I ordered, as expected.

I have already reviewed a few of the products by Amika but recently reinvested in their very popular Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask. The word itself suggests vitamins and nutrients needed to keep hair strong, healthy, and shiny. Like everything else, there's a right and wrong way to use any product. I was using the hair mask before or after shampooing/conditioning until I realized I was not benefiting from the hair mask. Simply put, entering the showering I shampoo my hair and rinse. The hair follicles are now OPEN. I add a palmful of Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask and massage into the scalp, avoiding the roots. Let absorb between 5-7 minutes. I utilize this time to soap up and rinse off while my hair absorbs the product and its nutrients. Rinsed thoroughly. Now I use my regular conditioner to CLOSE the hair follicles and seal in the vitamins/nutrients. Rinse thoroughly. My hair is now ready for blow-drying to style. Results: Healthy, shiny hair that makes a statement. Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask can also be used by itself for weekly treatments. Forever Amika!

I have fine, medium-length color-treated hair that has a mind of its own and, trust me, I was on the eternal roller coaster for two years before finding Amika. I tried several of their shampoos before finding my hair's perfect soulmate. I currently use Vault Color-Lock Shampoo and matching Conditioner; then alternate with Normcore Signature Shampoo which contains fatty acids and vitamin cocktails that hair craves for shine and moisture. Amika's website is chockfull of every hair product that is good for one's hair. They insist and strive for natural ingredients. I have my own product review blog, so each time I try another Amika product that I love, I write my review. Amika has thousands of customer reviews on their site AND they answer each question in Real-Time. A few days after I purchase the product, Amika sends me an invite to review it and offer a nice discount toward my next purchase. So far, I have the two above mentioned shampoos/conditioners, plus their Fluxus Hair Spray which is great; Head Strong Hair Spray for those very windy days and Thicc Volumized Base which is an emulsified cream in a tube for volume. If my hair does not respond to a product, I let them know since I prefer to write only positive reviews. What I truly love about Amika is the way they relate, love, and respect their customers. If they are out of a product, rather than the traditional 'unavailable at this time" Amika says, "Sorry, I am very loved" - then you have the option to be waitlisted. They treat you like family and stand behind their product. Like I say, Forever Amika.

No, I don't work for Amika but it might sound that way after I'm done telling you how much I love them. I'm a buyer, not a seller. I didn't even know that Amika existed until my daughter asked me to buy some things for her. They didn't cost too much and she's my daughter. So, I did. There was a problem with the first shipment. It was the dead of winter and the items arrived in a wet box. They had exploded because they had frozen. I called Amika. They were very nice and they immediately sent out new ones, no questions asked. I was very impressed. I'm used to dealing with poor customer service, poor quality, high prices, even downright fraud. Read my other reviews. Amika was an honest to goodness good company. After this, I went back to their website to see if they had anything that I wanted. Of course they did. I'm big on using good hair care products--no laureth sulfate, no parabens, no harsh chemicals. I would like to keep my hair, not have it fall out because of harsh chemicals. Just read the back of a bottle of most hair care products to see what I'm talking about. They advertise the great things they put in their products but they don't tell you about all of the bad ingredients that they also add. I was shocked at what I saw on the back of one bottle of a major brand that states all of the great ingredients they put in their products. So many bad things in it. Amika states on their about page "We only make products that make us proud. Highly effective haircare that have always been cruelty-free, formulated without sulfates, parabens, aluminum starch and over 1,300 questionable ingredients banned by the European Union." On top of that, Amika is fun. They have a beautiful, fun website and amazingly artistic designs on their products. Their products are high quality at reasonable prices. They even have a wonderful page of information on diverted products, products that are not authorized by Amika to sell. It explains why it would be bad to find their products at a discount site. The only thing bad I can say about them is that I'm not in love with their chatbot. I wanted to ask about a hairdryer but it couldn't help me and you can only call them 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. You can email them. If you email them on the weekend, I'm sure that they get back to you by Monday. As I said before, they are quick to respond. So, Amika is the best place I know of to shop for hair care products.

I buy the triple Rx Mask and it is amazing. The product is excellent. It took me about 2 weeks to get there but they gave me a discount code for my next purchase. the product is thick and with a little bit I leave my hair very soft and it smells delicious. Recommend 💯
