Lunardis – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Many of us, when we hear the name The Ultimate Sandwich, think about the episode of Teen Titans Go where Wraith sends her teammates on what we all expect to be a wild goose chase,just to get them out of her hair, to obtain the ingredients for the Ultimate sandwich. This episode never held any meaning to me, because all the places that make real sandwiches in my opinion, has never made anything to wow me what so ever. I'm not even going to include Subway in the list of competitors, as I always got crap from them, paying high price, little ingredients. But this review isn't about them, it's about Linardis which to me has always been a market I know of in San Bruno.Four years ago, my opinion of the place changed drastically, because they have a deli that has huge lines daily, just for their sandwiches alone!The few times I stopped by, had I not known it was a deli, would have sworn the line had to be for some type of hot concert tickets sale. Anyway, to my story.My daughter returned late one afternoon, after spending the weekend at Great America. On the way home, her friends dad stopped by Linardis and picked up sandwiches for everyone, which he got one for my daughter, who too it home with her to eat.I said my hello, how was your trip, as she sat down at her desk, unwrapped this big bundle, and then shouted as if something was wrong with the sandwich. I run over, and next thing I know, my 12 year old is guarding her sandwich as if it were a lump of gold. I look at her, wondering if she fell on her head or something, because she rarely ate anything, and the look in her eyes made me think twice about putting my fingers anywhere near her food. She finally gave in, said she's never tasted anything this good, in which she cut me a small piece, and she was right! This was not just any normal Italian hero, this was pure heaven.I called the deli at Linardis, found out I had to wait 3 days to place a sandwich order, so went to work, taking 8 sandwich orders, and to throw some humor into it, made a Teen Titan Go Ultima Sandwich fax cover sheet. This seems to have caught on, as surprisingly every time I fax this order in once a year, only changing the year on the cover page, they basically know not just who I am, they actually wait for that fax page each year lol.Every sandwich they make is packed with ingredients!! This isn't some stingy sub, it's packed to overflowing, with spices and proper sauces that just make ones taste buds want to scream WOW!We only order once a year, not because it's expensive, they aren't. Each sub runs us about $11 each! We only do this once a year because ordering more often, ruins the magic of it. Bringing these home is almost like watching your kids open Christmas gifts, their that good and that special! If you want one of these, order via fax a few days early to avoid those long lines. Eating one of these, will ruin it for all your other sandwich places, because so far to this date, no other compares!
