Lyft – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

First time, I used LYFT and the experience was fantastic!! 5 Star ALL THE WAY. FORGET UBER - VIRGINIA BEACH. STOP GETTING RIPPED OFF FROM UBER AND GO WITH LYFT.

Driver followed directions. Two issues with service : 1. Gps contradicts my location in the apartment complex. 2. Round trip. Attempted to do business quickly set up r/t on purpose. Not enough time was allowed and was charged for delay. Round trips should be allowed within app and reasonable wait times for task allotted.

A REALLY NICE DRIVER NAMED REX RILEY THE ONLY PROBLEM IS HE HAS MY PHONE AND THE LYFT APP WONT LET ME GET A HOLD OF HIM.

Ride was fine but Lyft is charging "waiting time" that dies not work at an airport (where I was). I had to message the driver "I am here where are you?" To find him in the crowd. Arizona cars have no front plates so you have to figure out what Genesis looks like.

I have had some reeeeeeally bad experiences with UBER and I have to say it ALMOST made me never use alternative taxi services. Uber has the sneaky tendency to “add a few dimes here and there, $7.50 ride would find you at $8.10 and they would lie about things like “waiting fee” except the actual car “never even came to a stop and I hopped in with the tires still rolling” yet 10 mins after I got home I got notified the driver had “waited 5 mins” Getting the refund? If you cared to waste the effort was a never ending cycle of bots and false links. The only way to get refunded is to file a chargeback. If you managed to get them to answer you somewhere somehow. The one time they “accidentally” billed me $20….. their recourse? Was to give you stored credit. Why would I agree to load $20 onto your platform as a refund? You should refunded it back to my credit card. What’s stopping you from a $900 accident and stiffing me with $900 store credit? So then there was Lyft. I wasn’t sure about another platform. I signed up. And it offered me 25% off my first 10 rides on week 1… granted I didn’t use it 10x. But I did have an urgent pick up nearby and needed ride home transit wasn’t an option. I mean $6.50 Vs $8+ I was very hesitant to attach my amex because of what Uber did helping themselves to money etc But I gave Lyft a chance. The first ride was amazing. Driver was late, like 10 mins. But. It’s okay. late is okay. The second ride was same. Coming 3 mins. Took 12 mins. But both drivers. Polite. Nice clean car. Quiet atmosphere. Safe driving. And did not bill me anything more than what I was seeing at the time I placed the ride. This is important to me. Because the only reason I don’t like taking taxi is they estimate $16 and it ends up being $21. And some drivers even take odd routes to beef the mileage a tiny bit. Taxi also like to guilt you into cash when your ride fare is low. Lyft is so nice. You pay in the app. You know how much it will be. You know the route the driver will take to drop you off. You also have the drivers face. The app also lets you know where the driver is in route to come get you. And also customer service is actually accessible during the whole ride and about 30 mins after the ride you get about 6-7 attempted texts asking if everything still okay long after you got home. This just lets you know. Should something go wrong. You don’t have to hunt to try and find the customer service links.
