Ordered a mat was fine at first then…

Ordered a mat was fine at first then encountered some problems with it, that's when the problems started you can't contact them there's no phone number on website, emailed then 2 times never received any form of contact, seem like there just here to take you money and don't want to deal with any aftercare. Shocking customer service my advise use another company! Even if they did see this review they still won't get incontact I would be surprised if they did

The mat is a trip hazard not worth the money

I wanted a really good educational play mat for my 6 month old as we have tile flooring in the living room. I opted for the the mat with the map on oneside and the alphabet on the other so over £200 for a mat which I was happy to pay. The mat came and its lovely and thick, the colours are really nice and bright. I read the I instructions stating that dents or curling would come out of the mat if left alone and making sure the mat was placed with curled up side facing downwards. After a week the mat still hadn't flatted out. I contacted mataplay by email they responded initially and then have failed to respond now for over 4weeks. The mat is a complete trip hazard if I want it with the alphabet facing upwards which is the side I prefer. My mother in law has even fallen due to it sticking right up so literally can't have this side of the mat on show at all. It's really disappointing as well as the customer service, a £200 mat which I can only use 50% of, I may as well got the mat with a pattern on one side for half the price!

Received damaged mat / no replacement provided

Received mat (for £150! )with PRINT/PAINT ERRORS AND MARKS not consistent with the pattern. Contacted the company on day 17th regarding issue. They said the 14 day return period has passed. I then asked them to fix it in accordance with their 12 month warranty policy and never heard back. Not worth the money, poor quality and inconsistent pattern.

Ordered an expensive play mat here and…

Ordered an expensive play mat here and never arrived. No proof of delivery has been provided neither from Mataplay nor from Yodel. They pocketed my £130 and never replied back. Don't trust these people or their lovingly looking Instagram ads. I don't think they are a legitimate company, I don't think they ever send any product to me.

Order delivered to wrong address

I placed an order from a company called Mataplay.co.uk. Unfortunately, the company did not deliver the order to my address but it was written on the delivery company's website as 'delivered' without any proof of delivery. I raised the issue to Mataplay. They did not take this issue responsibly. They only said that they will open an investigation to Yodel, the delivery company. It has been 2 months since I have not received any solution. They only said to me that ' Yodel says they delivered.' I still have not received a solution or a satisfactory reply. I paid £130 for something which was delivered to a different address. I only ask for a valid proof of delivery not only a text but also a picture or something they can confirm that they really delivered. Because they did not deliver to the correct address. I know that if the courier leaves the parcel to someone else or in a certain place where I didn’t address them beforehand, it’s not my responsibility if it gets lost. It is also written on Yodel's website that they should have asked me for my signature which they did not. they even did not ring my door. They should be aware of their irresponsibility. You can check your rights from citizen advice website under the title of 'something has gone wrong with a purchase/if something you ordered hasn't been delivered.' I desperately raised my complaint several times to Mataplay and I did not receive a valid answer. I only got an answer that they are quite busy, Yodel did not reply back and it may take a while. But it is been 2 months and how long should I wait for more? In the end, I still do not receive a response and waiting for their solution. Think several times before you order. If you have a problem with the order or delivery, be ready about losing that amount of money.
