Mercari Corporation – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Mercari is a two-sided coin. Sellers and buyers. Well technically mixtures of both sometimes. Anyway I am a buyer and have had a lot of luck when searching different platforms for items I'm interested in.(I mean price comparing on platforms for items and shipping combined then comparing) Example :eBay may have high prices for what I'm looking for..> then I Google the item by make and model number and suddenly Mercari comes up. Competitive pricing compared to eBay in many cases, but also similar in ways. On eBay, sellers can choose auction listings or buy it now or make best offer, or a mixture of these actually. That's nice for eBay because participating in an auction is free and making a best offer is free. There's not too many shopping platforms that allow for those two options at no cost. So because I was doing extensive searches for a particular item make & model number etc Google was the one that threw up all the options then Mercari. I signed up quickly and I've had all good experiences buying with them. In the first place Mercari is by large percentage full of sellers that let you make a best offer, or a pre-selected offer below asking price. No extra charge for choosing this. This can make buying a lot of fun and save some money. This Mercari best offer system will tell you if you bid too low and must increase in $1 increments . Sellers on Mercari are usually responsive when it comes to the best offers. Not all seller on eBay give attention to "best offers"as well as Mercari. So this is one of the other platforms I know of that will let you put in a best offer and make your shopping experience more interesting. The architecture of the company sometimes lets you select and pay for an item only to find out later that item is not in stock and then receive a full refund automatically. This is common there at Mercari. But you can filter items you're looking at with a button that says "for sale'. That narrows it down a bit. You can always message the seller first with a question like is this item still available? That avoids the issue of an old listing that hasn't been removed yet! That works! Now besides all that I've had polite sellers that ship quickly that respond to questions. I understand the terms and conditions for making returns or exchanges can be time sensitive. Not necessarily convenient but I have had no problems with sellers shipping exactly as described items.I'm getting sometimes a better deal beyond the asking price with the make offer option. This is a good system and having read terms conditions it can be very easy to resolve issues with the seller if you know how to. It's all there in the guarantees section. I do love this company and the app.Also able to find items that (begin) at a reasonable price, sometimes can negotiate that price even lower how cool is that right? Used to be only eBay did that. I got to give mercari a five-star review because of my uneventful worry-free purchases experiences there. If you put in a best offer here's what happens, You get a custom invoice that you agree to, must have a credit card on file with Mercari and they'll let you know if you win. Pretty much automated for best offer wins. I like this company as much as anybody who wants to negotiate price at times. Very nice well organized site and app. It's bound to be different for a buyer than for a seller I'm sure. Realistically problems arise" I've read for sellers", there's a different relationship with Mercari there that has its ups and downs I've read. Wonderful help from Krystell J in Mercari Customer Service. I just joined and made my first purchase through this company recently. I had a minor issue with the item. I contacted Mercari both on the phone and through email. They were very thorough and took good notes. Krystell J. in particular fully resolved the issue. She put a lot of effort into researching my concern. I was a bit stressed out, but she continued to patiently listen to me the whole time... she was such a kind person! I'll definitely shop here in the future!!!

I love mercari. I have been a seller/buyer with them since they have been online . It has truly been a great experience all of the years I've been with them. As a seller they have been more than satisfying if any issues have arised as a buyer they have been more than satisfactory if issues or complications came up. The team is great for working with both buyers and seller to reach a fair outcome .the sellers are generally great people. I've enjoyed both sides of the app.

Made a purchase late last month for the first time using Mercari. I didn't really know what to expect but I really wanted the item and the seller had it for a very great price so I gave it a shot. They take PayPal so at least I knew if it wasn't legit I'd get my money back if I filed a claim through PayPal. Luckily I had a superior experience. I received the item very quickly from the seller, as described, and it works perfect. You always take risks when you buy from personal online sellers but I've had great luck for years doing it so if another good deal ever pops up on something I'm looking for on Mercari I won't hesitate to give them another try. I'd definitely recommend them!

I've bought over 100 items and have over 30 sold items on this Mercari. Works like how you would expect. I like how Mercari's feedback system encourages more reviews for both the seller and buyer, since eBay makes it more optional which lowers the review rate. Only downside is I wish support was faster, and you need to be careful to not get scammed. A buyer ordered multiple products, and I shipped under the same tracking information and they lied and said they only received one. However, I lost seller protection because I bundled the orders myself and not through the system. So watch out!

I am both a seller and buyer on Mecari and have had nothing but great experiences. When I make a purchase from a seller I make sure to look at how much they have sold and look at all reviews. In the 3 years I had one item as not described. I was given a free return label and my money was refunded. I also sell and all interactions with selling have been positive. Poshmark takes almost double what Mecari takes in fees. Just be smart when making purchases and research the seller. Read all negative reviews.

My experience in Mercari have been great, I never really had an issue even when I decided to sell some things. I only go there to buy anime merch, makeup most specifically Jeffree star cosmetics, plushies with the tags on it, games & perfumes. I got all of my things on time & in good conditions. I've never had issues with sellers either, I always got great customer service & never got pushed into giving them good ratings. I have sold Jeffree star make up & mini perfumes. I always got my money & it was easy to sell items at least for me. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because they're not strict with their policies on fake makeup. I've seen many fake Kylie cosmetics, kkw makeup, Jeffree star & others. I really don't get why they would allow such a thing, I've seen other people mention of fake brand name items or perfumes being sold. Like that to me shouldn't be allowed here, its more of a flea market thing but on Mercari why? I wish they were strict with that instead of allowing scammers profit in fake makeup & that almost happened to me twice with Kylie cosmetics makeup. Luckily I got my refunds twice but there I knew it's risky there too. So be careful, always do your research & take a good look at the makeup to see if they're legit because you never know when you'll get some fake stuff & possibly never get your money back. Another thing I don't like is that it is up to the sellers to cancel your order or refund you. Sometimes if your lucky you will get some honest sellers but if you get shady ones your screwed. I have never dealt with Mercari's customer service so I don't have anything to say about it. I've been shopping there since 2020 so I took a good break from them & haven't really thought about shopping there for a while tbh.

I’ve ordered a few things from Mercari and have been satisfied. I like them better than EBay and Etsy.

Turning the selling apps around. For quite sometime buyers have been exploiting sellers by buying up valuable jewelry lots and reselling. Preditors. No way. Stick firm to your prices. Selling apps are what they are meant to be and that's go shopping. For yourself. For others. The buyers should go and buy their Gemstone jewelry from out source places and list accordingly and have great patience. These buyers are exploiting the goods of the sellers. And laughing all the way to the bank when they bought your things in bulk or lots. Selling apps are what they are meant to be and that's that. Buyers can only hope on your good graces that you may accept a reasonable offer they make on an item they like or may spare them the shipping cost. Sellers are losing a fortune on valuables by the preditors out there. Turn it back to the sellers market. Sell cheap or in lots you lose big time. Plus your packing and time and energy and you may still get a stinking rating.
