What is Public Goods Cash Back?

Though Public Goods already offers highly discounted products, it’s always good to have additional cost-saving opportunities, right? That’s what you can get with Public Goods cashback – a system of returning a certain percentage from your purchases at Public Goods to your wallet. Yes, that’s real money – not some Public Goods cashback bonus that you can only spend for subsequent purchases in this store, but hard cash that you can use for any other purposes.

How Does Public Goods Cashback Works?

Public Goods cashback: sounds simple enough, but how simple is it? The definition of cashback states that it’s literally a cash rebate, but where does this money come from? It comes from promotional deals between third-party sites and Public Goods. These promos are paid in the form of cash to the cashback site and then transferred to you. These cashback sites feature clickable links that direct traffic to the main Public Goods website, which in turn rewards the site. Want more Public Goods cashback deals? We'll explain some Public Goods rebate deals and offers next.

On top of cashback, you're also eligible for some Public Goods cashback bonus offers. This can come from purchasing with Public Goods cashback credit cards, which offer cashback when using them to make purchases. There are rebate Public Goods offers that you can redeem to receive extra cash and extra promos and bonuses as well.

To put it in the simplest way, by using a third-party site for Public Goods shopping, you collect a percentage of your cash back. We got the best Public Goods cashback sites coming up next.

How to Get Cashback from Public Goods?

Just like the Public Goods promise, it's easy! We've broken the process down into four simple steps:

  1. Choose a cashback site and sign up for free
  2. Look for the Public Goods portal and start shopping
  3. Check out
  4. Sit back and relax while your cash comes to you

How to Use Public Goods Cashback?

Using the cashback Public Goods rewarded to you is also very easy. There is one thing, though – it needs time to be processed and cashed out. First of all, it's good to check that your preferred method of withdrawal is offered at the cashback site you choose. All those that we provided offer all major payment methods.

After this is done, your purchase will need to be approved by Public Goods, which can take between 10 and 30 days. After approval, the cash is transferred to the cashback site you used and then sent to you within 24-48 hours. Most of the time, it is required to have a minimum amount before you can withdraw your earnings.

With so many ways to earn extra cash and bonuses just from shopping at your favorite stores, shopping gets much more attractive. Have fun shopping around and enjoy the rebates flooding back to your account!

Public Goods Cash Back Calculator

The cashback calculator is available in some cashback services (for example, SecretDiscounter) on the page of each store and allows you to quickly calculate the amount of cash back that will be returned after a purchase. However, to calculate the cashback, the calculator uses the maximum store rate, and if the store has several rates for different categories of goods, the calculator takes into account the largest one.

Best Cashback Site for Public Goods

Finding a good cashback website is the most important part of collecting your deserved rebates. Here we have a Public Goods cashback review to get you started. First, look for a website that is home to thousands of top retailers and bonus offers that will be sure to get you the green you're hoping for. Second, look for the provider’s welcome bonus as it’s a great chance to get even more bonuses from the purchases. I was sad and VERY surprised at this person’s review

It was saddened to see that this person was so unhappy about the $79 yearly fee. I’m a customer of Public Goods and a very HAPPY CUSTOMER at that. As a retired business person, I just want to point out a couple things that should make you think differently. Take Costco, for example. There’s a good chance that YOU might be a member. For many companies, it’s advantageous for the company and the consumer, to have membership(s). Some are tax reasons. Some are to attract/maintain a particular customer or business base. You state that nowhere does the site state that you need a membership. This isn’t true and I strongly suggest you look at the site again, so that you can correct your evaluation. AND, maybe, after reading this, you will change your mind and happily join! Look at it as a business, with a membership like Costco has, but it’s even better in many ways. No lines is one of my favorites! The QUALITY is bar none, the BEST quality possible. I know why, because after reading your comments, I decided to read the WHOLE website. Public Goods put each and every item through vigorous scrutiny, testing, etc. from start to finish. The products, ingredients in products, are based from who they get from. Is that supplier a decent company, treating their employees well, organic, not polluting, etc! Foods! Wow! The saying is big things come in small packages. I’m changing it-BIG AND GREAT THINGS COME IN PLAIN, RECYCLED PACKAGES. Top quality. Yummy. Quality. Prices are BETTER than the average store. The Rice Pilaf (different flavors too), is my go-to side dish. And I ALWAYS make double because everyone wants seconds. I just tried the Chai Tea concentrate. It’s BETTER, doesn’t have the ingredients that sound like it was developed in a lab like the concentrate I purchased at the store. Cleaning products- I started with the starter kits. A QUALITY spray bottle and a small container of the concentrate for Surface, Bathroom and Window Cleaners. I’m now paying HALF for a product that works as good if not BETTER than the name brand. AND, I’m not throwing away a plastic bottle over and over again. Beauty-I admit. I was apprehensive about trying the face and eye creams. I’m so glad that I did!!!! My SAVINGS are approximately $65.00 on the two! Each is JUST as good as the name brand I used for years. I’m sorry for talking ears-eyes off lol but Public Goids is one of the BEST companies I’ve EVER used and i didn’t even go into how they plant a tree for every order, or donate to a food bank, etc. They truly are a company with a heart and soul.

Public (Great)s and minor membership confusion

I'd give 4.25 or 4.5 if I could, but I'm feeling generous today. I remember seeing an Instagram ad for their ramen and thinking, "Man, this might be a good base for a meal between classes." I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! I enjoyed both the Original Ramen and the Spicy Sesame Oil Ramen. I have yet to try their other products, but I'll work my way around to them. Now, let's get to business practices. I wish how the "2-week membership free trial" thing worked was clarified better before purchasing. The first reference to the membership is on the homepage. You need to scroll down some to see it, but it's there. This one is straightforward and tells you about the 2-week free trial. It also briefly describes the reasoning for the membership pricing ($79/mo). It does not, however, tell you if it's opt-in. The second reference to the membership is on the checkout page. At this point, the membership is automatically added to the cart and cannot be removed. Despite this, it DOES EXPLICITLY SAY that you can cancel the free trial any time. The process to do so is relatively simple and easy (read on for my experience later in the review). I don't think this is the best way to introduce the membership. I don't know how many people would ACTUALLY scroll down the homepage to the first reference, so most are probably being introduced to it at checkout. Like any free trial involving a membership/subscription, they WILL charge you the specified amount at the end of the period. An email is sent to you for setting up a Public Goods account after your first purchase. Again, not the best way of doing this. If that's not your experience, you can contact their support. The easiest methods I could find were: the "Contact" link at the bottom of the page and the "FAQ" link at the top, next to "About." Arguably, the BETTER way to implement the membership system would be to create the account BEFORE (or during) purchasing. Many goods/services websites are structured that way, and consumers will be more familiar with that sequence. I don't know if that's possible, as it may depend on how their site/infrastructure is configured, but it would be the better way to go about it. Lastly, I'll talk about customer service. The exchange I had was brief but excellent and responsive. Initially, I was going to cancel, but I was convinced to stay (yeah, I know, but I will be buying a lot of their ramen this year). Honestly, I was expecting an email in the morning (I sent it close to 10pm) but ended up getting a response within 15 minutes. The following emails were equally prompt. For people worried about the 1-star reviews: don't worry. As long as you can read carefully—everything is spelled out clearly if you pay attention—you'll know what to do and won't be charged the membership price.

Excellent (and fast!) customer service

Their ramen is good, but the customer service was great! Did it online via their chat feature - quick, easy, and awesome!

Once you pay the membership fee, its pretty nice.

I was blissfully unaware of their membership model ($79 for a year after a 14 day trial, free shipping over $49). I ordered a few items including hand soap, lotion and witchhazel, the latter arriving broken. Public Goods replied quickly to my packaging inquiry and gave me a credit for the broken items. We LOVE the soap, my son loves the lotion and we've recently started buying their Dinnerware line. Once you eat the yearly fee, its a bit expensive, but I believe worth it.

Try dish soap and toothpaste.

Weird that there are 2 reviews (a 5 star and a 4 star) and the overall is a 3.5. I bought a lifetime subscription from one of the crowdfunding offers and have been ordering toiletries here for a couple of years. So far I dig the lightly scented shower products, dish soap (the best) toothpaste/floss (the best), hand cream and menstrual care products. I'm not a huge fan of the flavors in some of the grocery items I've tried but the generic stuff are fine. I dissected the ingredients list of the hand cream per Paula's Choice dictionary because I was curious why I liked it so much. Everything was good or above average with the exception of a couple items that didn't come up. That's pretty good for a generic brand but it's often sold out and I can't find it on their website at the moment. The skincare products are probably ok for someone with minimal skincare needs. I have oily/combo skin and they weren't for me. I'm also comparing them to my 1000 step routine. Overall, their household products have quickly become my faves. I like that they are constantly improving their products. I've noticed a formula change in tp, toothpaste and dish soap.

Soup in a bag...a-may-zing

Soup in a bag...a-may-zing. Jerky, to die for. Mayo isn't Hellman's. Deodorant, so so. Love all bath and household cleaning products. Dryer balls with essential oils...how did I live? Canned goods...yummy. Love the bone broth concentrate. Buffalo sauce, very buffalo-y in a good way. Towels...buy some and you'll see why they sell out. I have a million (slight exaggeration) dish towels and the walnut scrubbers are very effective. All 3 candle fragrances are delightful. I am overall very pleased.

Highly recommend Public Goods to any one looking for healthy, non-toxic, sustainably-sourced consumable products at insane low prices. Minimalist packaging and shipped directly to your door at price points that beat Amazon, Walmart and other big-box stores. Small choices can make a big impact!
