I like these shoes! They are comfy and fit well!
I can’t comment on customer service. I read reviews and ordered a size 9 when my normal is 8 1/2x. I LOVE them! I have a wide foot and these don’t bother either foot I’ve had a bunionectomy on. The negative reviews seem a bit harsh because all shoes fit differently. If these don’t work for you return and move on. I purchased the flat I ocean blue as my first Rothy. I’ll be ordering more.
The shoes are very cute and comfortable. I have 3 pairs, 1 point and 2 round toes. I’m sad to say that all of mine have developed holes where my pinky toe rubs on one side and on the point pair the holes are also near my big toe area. I purchased them in 2018-2020 and the holes started showing within the first 2 years. So in all they last probably a normal amount of time with daily wear.
The sneaker is the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn in my 48 years of living. I will purchase more.
I never tried their customer service, but I have been buying from Rothys since years and introduced it to my family. Lovely shoes, great colors, sustainable and fashionable. Never hurts your feet if you ordered the right size, the reason behind a 4 star instead of 5 is due to it not keeping their game up. There are other companies that does sustainable heels 👠 and more affordable shoes than Rothys. I sincerely hope they do level up their game.
OMGG I Love these!! I have only had them on for 20 minutes but they are sooo comfortable. I got the camo ones after coveting them for at least a year, couldn't justify spending that much on myself what with all that's going on, but my 2 old pairs of sneakers both fell apart so I got these and they are wonderful!!
I absolutely LOVE my Rothy's. They're super comfortable, hold up nicely, washable, come in a bunch of different styles and they're constantly releasing new colors and patterns. They literally never get old to me. Some people struggle with sizing but seems to me that most wear .5 or 1 full size up from their usual shoe size. Depending on the style you may have to go up more than another style. Despite that learning curve, I own way more pair than I ever thought I would, and will continue to buy more. No more socks!! No more smelly flats!! This is shoe heaven for me.
I have 3 pairs and they fit wonderfully. You can probably get something similar elsewhere but no complaints. I have not had to deal with customer service so I can not speak to that issue. If there is an issue I would probably hesitate future purchases. They should get on the ball if they want to stay in business.
I first saw a friend wearing Rothy's and after hearing they use recycled material, I decided to give them a try. I am obsessed with the yellow "The Point" shoes, they look great with my predominantly blue/navy wardrobe. For my birthday the following year, I received a "The Flat" pair as a gift, but the fit was not the same (for wider feet like me, I would recommend sizing up on "The Point" by a half size in comparison to "The Flat"). Through personal circumstance, I missed the return window of 30 days. On day 53, I contacted their customer service to see if they would still accept the return or give me a size swap. The person I spoke to on the phone was super helpful, and he didn't make me feel bad for missing the return window, which was my fault. Since the style I had was no longer available, they credited me a gift card, which was great! I really appreciate the exception they made for me, and the shoes are just amazing.
Update: An incredibly kind supervisor reached out to me. She made my order right. I appreciate her professionalism and, based on my experience with her, I have updated my rating. Awful customer service. How on earth can a sustainable company hire such rude and disrespectful people? My Rothys are going back. I will not support a company that employs people who treats its customers the way their customer service agents have treated me.
