Straight Talk – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Well let's get to the first one what made this company good what used to be priced but it's not anymore because almost any phone company out there can be the Straight Talk price when it comes dollar for a minute as far as Internet minutes just go back to the $35 for the 20 GB odata but it is what it is but what made today's special and good was the representative of talk to which doesn't happen often you guys sit in front of your computers and you don't know what you're doing but I called to turn my phone back on and get my card going and he was quick knew exactly what he was doing he was very clear on everything you said when he didn't know the answer he straight up told me I'm not sure but I can give you some results and at the end of the phone call one of the things is you guys your computer can't hang up or it's hard for you guys to hang up disconnect the phone so you always like to customer too well I didn't disconnect my phone and I was joking around talking some smack about him and I he waited a few seconds and then he said hey Randy you may want to shut up your phone I kind of laughed cuz he caught me you know I'm doing behind his back trying to be a little smart butt in front of my friends and you know you embarrassed me a little bit in front of him but hey it's all good he's a good guy he took a tie and now he laughed about himself this phone call that took place was at 6:20 evening time 4:20 was the date I'm sorry 428 the phone number was the last four digits were 4880 and the area code was 843 I'm sure you can look it up for there or basically just look up my email and that will tell you too but anyways I want to give that representative five stars his job well he made me feel comfortable he got to the point and he answered all the questions besides what I called for that's how you get five stars you should get you know a raise and maybe you should be training some of the people that sit on your computer you know what drop me off on computer I'll sit at my house I'll be a representative and I'll show you how the job is done but anyways I'll get six stars just kidding I'll probably wouldn't get six stars but I'll get five at least that's the end of my review I just want to give that guy props because he deserved them

I've had Straight Talk for 2 years now and I have not a single complaint about their coverage, their service or the price. I can't say I've ever had to deal with a service rep but that's a perk ain't it? Like someone before me said, it's as simple as buying a data card monthly and scratching for the pin off the back. I use the app to refill my monthly service and it always goes off without a hitch!

don't understand how so many people can complain about a service that is no contract and unlimited and cheaper that most other services! People just love to complain! Want everything handed to them. Some are picky! Too picky With that said, the only issue I wish would be resolved, is I have a 5g phone, yet can never watch videos above 480p! That's ridiculous! A 5g phone should be able to play 1080 and above resolution! Other than that, the customer service could be a little better..

I don't understand the bad reviews. I just spent about a week getting my new factory unlocked phone set up on straight talk. US Cellular said the phone was not comparable with their system. I called Straight Talk tech support to check if the phone would be comparable with their system. It was and they even told me which SIM to use. I purchased the startup kit at Wal-Mart and proceeded with the process. Everything went fine...until I received a text message that the 4 digit pin to transfer my phone number from US Cellular was not correct. It was the number US Cellular tech support had given me. Also the same number the local store gave me. NOT STRAIGHT TALK'S FAULT! It turned out that US Cellular had given me the wrong code! Apparently if you have more than one phone on a contract, you need to use the code for the primary phone number, even if that isn't the number you are trying to transfer. Straight Talk tech support was great working thru this with trial and error. I've called them a number of times getting the phone issues resolved and the wait time was 1 to 5 minutes. After the phone number transfer finally was accepted by US Cellular, Straight Talk even told me what time the phone would become active. Around that time things started to change on the phone. I gave it about 10 minutes since it didn't to a one shot swoop. The phone then would come and say "calling" and a second later "call ended". I contacted Straight Talk tech support (1 minute wait) and they had me check my phone settings and change a few. Rebooted the phone but still didn't work. They told me to shut off the phone, take out the SIM card and put it back in. I was still on a US Cellular system and US Cellular dropped the call. I did the SIM card thing and the phone worked. I think if I would have had the correct pin number in the first place, the whole setup might have gone just fine. With the number transfer being rejected, that may have confused the setup program. With computers things can remain in memory and it takes a power down to get the program to recheck everything. My frustration is with US Cellular. Straight Talk was great. Granted there was a accent issue on a couple of the calls but not as bad as many customer service phone centers have. After the phone worked, I called Straight Talk tech support back to let them know the phone was working. That call was sooo much clearer and better, even on speaker, than our US Cellular phone service has been. I have no problem with Straight Talk. A friend has been using it for a couple of years with no problems , except when he spends too much and can't afford a new card when his month runs out. No way problem getting hit started again though.

I am confused about all the bad ratings. I have had this for at least 15 years and about 7 phones with Verizon service and I have never had an issue. I love the fact that I can buy a card and text the pin in to refill without having to talk to somebody. And no bill or overages ever?!? That's the whole point. I think these bad reviews are made by selfish people who do not have anything better to do. Thank you straight talk for simplifying my life. !!!

Straight Talk does not exist. they are dishonest & a scam. although they were not authorized for auuto pay they went into my account 2 days before the due date & took the money out of my bank account. smarttalk is scammer, nothing else.Authorities & Bank have been alerted.

My son got me a phone, turned it on .now i wanted to us it so I went back to start talk .They took all my info and cc number auto pay and all and the phone won't work now after 1 1/2 hours on hold no luck all my info wrong and they will not stop the charges to my card.Oh yes they got that right so I would say do not go with them. On the phone with bank now

I've had Straight talk for a long time, over 5 years, and it use to be a great deal, however, I've had a lot of different problems with it this past year and I'm fed up with dealing with the struggles of this service. Last night I added a $55 phone card refill and it was working fine until an hour ago. My phone now says it has no internet service nor phone service. I tried called customer service and could not understand the customer service agent. UPDATE: My phone service is now restored. I really wish things would improve because I really did like this service. I use to rarely have any problems.

I lost my phone number because I lost my actual phone. Was concerns I could not get reconnected. Met a gentleman from straight talk by the name of William at the Walmart in Kissimmee Florida. Came in told him my concerns he took the time to call tech support and get me all straightened out. Very professional very patient highly recommend
