AVOID this company! They are unethical and charged over $1000 in 25 days on my credit card with additional unrequested orders, then claimed it was what we subscribed to. We signed up for an initial order of 144oz of beef and 144oz of chicken with a renewal every 25 days. Our first order only had 72oz of the chicken, so we contacted them and they sent the correct amount. Great, we thought, a little snafu, but handled well, until 3 weeks later when we get our bank statement and on the same day they sent the replacement to correct the short order, they added an additional 'subscription' of 144oz beef with a renewal of every 5 days. So, while we were on vacation, they shipped another 3 orders we never requested at $199 an order. When we returned and saw the stacks of unwanted dog food, we contacted them, said we'd send the shipments we never ordered back, and were told, sorry, it's what YOU ordered. It's not, we didn't. We think when we contacted them about the initial chicken order being short, they somehow created another 'subscription' because this mystery beef order started the day after we contacted them about the initial order being half what we paid for. We don't need 144oz of chicken, and 144oz of beef, PLUS another 600oz of beef, every month, for 2 medium dogs! Then we tried to cancel the order subscription we did sign up for, but because to cancel, they make you go through multiple steps and contacts, we still got stuck with another 144oz chicken at $179, and another 144oz of beef at $199. The ultimate irony is that our dogs don't like the beef recipe, but do like the chicken. So, we are stuck with $1200 in dog food in 25 days, that is mostly something our dogs won't even eat. They offered to honor their "donate it and get 50% back if you show us the donation receipt" policy, but that's still only a refund of half of the $600 in charges for food we never requested nor approved. We'll be filing a complaint with our credit card company, the BBB as well as the Attorney General in New York.
Terrible experience with this company. Avoid at all costs! Save your money and go with Open Farm. Sundays clearly over extended themselves and can’t fulfill orders or answer any customer service requests. Went over a month without hearing a thing about my order that said it would ship in a week, only received a “shipping notification” after I inundated their customer service with texts. Won’t refund me despite the fact that I’ve had to purchase additional dog food to fill the gap left by their terrible delays. Unwilling to acknowledge that they’re over their heads yet still advertising aggressively on social media and overwhelming my inbox with marketing emails - yet I can’t get a response to a single one of my many attempts to talk to someone about my order. They take your money (their dog food is EXPENSIVE) and then ghost you. Once you finally talk to someone they have nothing but excuses.
