TEABOX – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I have been their customer since they started. I have been pleased with their tea quality however what happened in my last order made me decide not to order from them again because they were dishonest. Under the Black Friday promotion of 2021, I purchased >$150 of tea in order to get a $50 gift card -- the promotion induced me to purchase more from them. The tea arrived without the said gift card. I reached out to their customer service on Facebook, which kept on asking me to check my mailbox and spam folder. When I asked them to "resend" the missing email (I had the impression that this was supposed to be a physical gift card), they issued me a coupon with strings attached (I must purchase another $200). I find their behavior sketchy and such a business shall not be tolerated. I regret introducing their business to numerous friends.

They'll charge you 4 times the actual price if you are browsing from a location other than India regardless of the shipping address & currency you are paying in. You can find the same product for a quarter of the price on their Indian site. Beware and steer away! These lot are ripping you off - Oh and not to mention their extremely poor customer support.

I've ordered Assam and chai teas from Teabox. Overall the teas I've tried were good. Some were not so good and for those teas I wrote negative reviews. Teabox never published my negative reviews and in one instance questioned my review. If you read through tea reviews on their site, you'll noticed that ALL their teas are highly reviewed. Kind of a scam, I'd say.

Good service and Quick delivery, Premium products, and safe transactions.

First of all, I did not order from this company. They wanted me to email an image of my credit card and my passport which is a big NO, and isn't even mentioned in their privacy policy. Well, how good are privacy and consumer protections in India anyway? If they don't trust me to provide them true payment information, why should I trust this company to keep my personal data safe? They put my order on hold but still charged my credit card as I found out later when the statement came in, and this even after I canceled the order. How shady is this? If you dig in a bit deeper into their website you'll also find that their claim of freshness and advantage of direct shipping to customers doesn't hold water. They list the production date, and for all Assam teas I was looking at the date was in summer last year. Why order from them when you can get the same from a domestic store at the same or lower price?
