Order #700101357941 I placed an order on a Saturday and cancelled it less than 20 minutes later. Suitcase still shipped. Fed Ex delivered it to the wrong building in my huge complex (72 buildings). I thought it was lost and pleaded my case that if it had been cancelled, this never would have had to happen. TRAVELPRO GENEROUSLY REFUNDED MY MONEY EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NOT OBLIGATED TO DO SO. But wait! About an hour after my last email exchange with Travelpro (and four days after the delivery date), a neighbor in a building far away from mine called and said that she checked the label on a box that had been sitting in her mail area. It was my suitcase, and I now have it. I informed Travelpro so that they could recharge me. I'm keeping the suitcase because I do need to replace an old one, and even though I'm not using it any time soon, I like this one. The Orchid is very pretty. Still think they should reconsider their cancellation policy. If you can order on a weekend, you should be able to cancel on a weekend without question, especially if you do it within a reasonable amount of time like I did. Hence the four stars instead of five.
I like others have had a few issues with customer service reps at TravelPro. But I have to say I had the best experience ever with Rep Ariel Negron ! She handled my issue like a pro . She stayed on top of the situation until resolved . Very professional and far superior in knowledge . I appreciate her ability to resolve and make me a happy customer. I own several Travelpro luggage pieces from soft side to hard side even the large bags . I will continue to support Travelpro with reps like Ariel. Thank you Ariel for your professionalism !
I recently ordered a two piece luggage set. Somehow, I mixed up their two different return policies (30 days and 100 days). When I decided to return my unused, brand new luggage (because I found my DREAM [very expensive] suitcase on a steep discount), I was faced with great service, but very direct and by the book. I can’t blame them for that. As it was an honest mistake on my side, I asked to be escalated for a one time exception, which is when I met Jeremy. As a supervisor, he did what I always hope my supervisors do for me which is back me up. He upheld the decision of the previous agent, which was the right thing to do. Then, I pleaded with him and he was nothing but incredible and kind. It’s because of Jeremy that I will think about TravelPro in my future purchases.
I ordered a Maxlite 5 (one of the lower-cost products) carry-on and a matching duffle 3 years ago. They have performed and held up well. I like them so much that I recently ordered a check-in for my upcoming trip to Italy. Both orders were filled promptly and correctly, and I love the luggage, especially for the price. My review references order fulfillment and product; I have had no experience with post-purchase problems.
After a terrible start...TravelPro came through. The customer service center and phone system for the corporate office was non-existent, as were the emails. I had questions, and no one responded via any communication source. I finally ordered a product blindly, and was so frustrated with the lack of communication that I intended to return the suitcase. Some time after my trip, I received a call from someone in the company who not only LISTENED to my experience, but offered several solutions to make it better, and became a consistent communicator from thereon. It is people like that, who understand the value of customer service, that have turned my poor experience into one that I am happy to say, has made me a happy customer.
