Zipcar – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

OK THIS COMPANY WAS VERY CONVENIENT FOR THE LAST COUPLE YEARS, UNTIL NOW! I SUDDENLY Found OUT THAT MY MEMBERSHIP GETS TERMINATED DUE TO SO REQUIREMENTS DONT MEET OR WHATEVER. I ASKED WHY DID THE TERMINATE MY ACCOUNT BUT THEY GIVE ME NO REAL REASON WHY. I HAVE NOT DONE NOTHING WRONG WITH THERE CARS AT ALL AND WAS ALWAYS ON TIME RETURNING. YES IVE HAD ONE INCONVENIENCE WHEN I WAS IN PHILADELPHIA AND THE CAR I PAID FOR WAS NOT AT ITS LOCATION AND WAS STILL ON RENTAL. I WAS NOT PLEASED BUT I WAS PATIENT ENOUGH FOR THEM TO SEND ME TO ANOTHER CAR LOCATION NOT TO FAR FROM WHERE I WAS. THEY CLAIM SOMETHING ABOUT MY DRIVING RECORD, AND ETC WHICH I KNOW FOR SURE THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. I TALK WITH A SUPERVISOR TO GET A REASON WHY THEY TERMINATE MY ACCOUNT FOR NO REASON WHEN I DID NOTHING WRONG, HE GO ABOVE WHAT THE HIRE UP PEOPLE SAID WHICH STILL DONT MAKE CLEAR OR MAKE SINCE TO WHY AND HE HANGS UP THE PHONE. NEVER WILL I SUGGEST ANYONE TO GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY, (ZIPCAR) AT ALL,I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY NOW, BUT NOW THEY NOT LOYAL after 1/27/23 they terminated my account they were still charging me a month membership fee. You'll ONLY SPENT MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE TO ONLY GET DROPPED WITH NO FOR NO REASON!

My feelings changed like the wind. I was excited about signing up for this service. I was approved, PAID and set to pick up the nearest vehicle When I got to the spot, the car was nowhere to be found.I called customer service which was good, they told me that the person with the car is running really late and that there is no other available cars. Also I have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back. I also canceled my membership because this is a sign that they are not reliable. They need to change the system. I should've never been able to book a car and they shouldn't have taken my money. They have trackers on the car so the system should have notified them not to book the vehicle. I needed the car so I can go to work while my car is in the shop. Now I have to find another way with out the money (almost $200 dollars) I unfortunately gave to zipcar.

How dare I meet their requirements! I applied for an account and they denied me because my license met every single requirement and yet still rejected me. They even said meeting all requirements doesn't guarantee a membership, so what's the point of the requirements if meeting them means nothing!!

All the cars I've booked have been clean and easy to drive, with the exception of one I couldn't access through the app or with my card. Zipcar customer service replied to me quickly and refunded me for the full price without any hassle. The student yearly membership is only $15, which is convenient if you're in college and don't have your own car.

Asked to cancel my waiver insurance after it renewed. They did it right away and as a good will gesture refunded me (without me even asking!) the payment for one of the monthly payments which had just gone through. And went on to explain how for a low frequency user such as myself, that next time I can make my waiver auto expire after just one month. Very impressed by the service!
