Albert Tracking Order Status

I downloaded this app solely for the purpose of a small cash advance which I never took out to begin with. They set automatic payment withdraws for a savings and investment accounts with Albert. They were taking money each day. I figured out how to turn this off and attempted to cancel the account, but they won’t cancel until you withdraw the funds they stole from you. Funny thing is, not all of the money they took is available same day. Each day I have to go back in to see if there’s at least $2 available to withdraw because they won’t allow the full balance at once. That’s where they get you because by the time it takes for them to allow your funds be available for withdraw, your past the trial date and they charge you $98. I will be calling my bank to dispute the charge and will ALWAYS tell people how horrible of an experience this company has made. From the other reviews, I’m obviously one of many that feel this way.

Oh where do I even start? So I was actually doing great with budgeting this month until I go to check out my groceries in the grocery store and I realize that my account has been completely robbed. Albert stole not only $96 but 96+ $11 for some kind of savings account. I had no idea I even signed up for this. I’m not exactly sure what their company does since I can’t get anyone on the telephone and all I can get is a text message telling me that it’ll be six days at least I am screwed. This is the absolute worst company I cannot even believe this is legal and my next stop is the BBB.

I used the Albert app for at least a couple of years and I had generally positive experiences. It was a great way to manage bills and finances. Recently, Albert has decided to force all existing customers to agree to a "Genius" subscription, an extra service that the company offers. There is no way to log in to your existing account to pull your funds or use the other services without agreeing to a minimum of $8 a month in recurring charges. Because a free month trial of "Genius" is offered, Albert seems to think they are allowed to actually force customers into a contractual agreement based on the fact that it is free for one month and you could seemingly cancel anytime. I am fairly sure that these practices are illegal and I have completely closed my account. I wouldn't suggest this brand.

you think you're signing up for one thing by the end of "signing up" for a "high yield" checking account they're trying to charge you $150 paid monthly or what have you .. extremely outrageous. I was skeptical about the checking account but after going through and providing social security number etc they don't give you the checking account they force you into a 30 trial of a $150 service you didn't know about or ask for !! Unbelievable.

Money is missing from my account and there is no one to speak to and this app will not allow me to log on or reset my account. Where is my money and who runs this company?
