CARiD Tracking Order Status

I recently bought and installed new Spyder headlights. However, after installation, I noticed that the Daytime Running Lights were not the C-lights as described in the product description. According to the description, the C-lights should be on during normal driving (DRL Bar) and the switchback function would activate during the blinker phase. Unfortunately, the C-lights do not turn on during the DRL phase, only during the low beam and parking light function phase. I must say that the headlights were packaged very well and delivered on time. When I contacted customer service, they replied quickly, but the representative was a bit short in answering my query. However, the response was informative as they stated that Spyder creates the information blurbs on the headlight ad, not CARID. Hence, if there is any misleading information, it is a SPYDER issue, not CARID. After giving it some thought, I decided to keep the headlights as I like the switchback blinker function, the look of the lights, as well as the overall quality.

This is our second purchase from CarID/Spyder lighting. Both shipments were prompt and damage free although the packing could have been more thorough. There was a considerable amount of space left in the box that should've had void fill. Again, no damage, but you left most of the final condition up to UPS. I’m in n the Process of returning an item that I ordered by mistake. I had to pay a fee to return the item, but a lot of companies have a restocking fee. I just got my RMA email to return the item. I will return the item and they will send out the new one. I will post any updates.

Whelp. Despite all the bad reviews I went for it. I received my motegi traklite wheels and was excited to put them on only to realize the lug nuts weren’t there. They did email me days later saying they were on the way. Also realized a lot of the weights had fallen off. Not only that, after taking them to a shop to be balanced, I was told the ones that stayed weren’t even in the best position. Also didn’t come with hubcentric rings. So keep that in mind if you decide to go for it like me. Shipping was fast. No complaints there. But I prefer slow and solid rather than fast and fragile. Got the sense of carelessness and lost the excitement of it all. Pretty disappointed. Update: so I received the lug nuts and with the package were the hubcentric rings. Also they did reimburse me for having to have my wheels balanced. So I appreciate that. I did forget to mention one of the tires kinda had a bump during rotation that was pointed out to me at the shop. The roads where I live are pretty bad so I can’t tell if it even is feeling bumpy because of that lol. I did feel it on the highway when the wheels were unbalanced tho. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see how it goes from here. Adding a star for them reimbursing me and not just leaving me hanging.
