als langjährige kunden: - freundlicher und kompetenter service - kurze lieferzeiten - gute qualität - die bestellte ware entspricht den größentabellen (was bei zahlreichen anderen anbietern...) oft nicht zutrifft.

Trotz angeblicher sofortiger Lieferzeit, kommen die Teile nach und nach innerhalb ca. 10 Wochen! Kein Vergleich zur Ansicht möglich, da Zahlungsfrist 14 Tage. Auẞerdem sind die Ärmel bei der Damenmode sehr knapp bemessen. EB sollte seine Philosophie dringend überarbeiten!

I love the fact that Eddie Bauer offers 650 fill down coats that fall below the knee, in Plus Sizes. However, it really bothers me that they didn’t publish my review. I had lavish praise for the warmth, durability, style, color, and stain resistance of the coat. Sadly, the sizing and fit were not good, I marked many positives, and that one negative in the checkboxes. I’m 5’7 1/2” and 233 pounds. My other 1X long coats fit great, but too snug in the arms and shoulders for layering, in the frigid far North. My measurements are exactly a 1X in Eddie Bauer. I ordered a 2X, to make sure. There is plenty of room throughout the body of the coat, but I have to stand/sit with my legs stuck together or the zipper splits, on the Seamless Down duffel coat. I can open the 2 way zipper, but it ends about 7” higher than the 44 1/2” already. I was planning to add a strong snap, but it’s not closable. The zipper appears pretty flimsy, and warped outward (permanently) the first time I sat down in the coat. The cut is straight up and down (not flared, as it appears on the model), a reproduction of a Regular sized garment, only larger. I wasn’t nearly this critical, recommended the coat highly to anyone without big legs, and they didn’t publish my review stating it fit me poorly. Instead, I see uniform “perfect fit” reviews on their site. Plus Sized people waste so much money on garments that are not made for us. We deserve to, at least, share our experience. It’s unethical to post only the most positive reviews. I love Eddie Bauer’s consideration of style, quality materials, and workmanship. However, I avoid dealing with dishonest companies, as much as possible. If they aren’t willing to post even partly critical reviews (if the author is not clearly a blowhard), they should not publish reviews at all. I revised my review and added more glowing praise of this high points (which I will omit here, since they omitted it due to my experience with poor fit). I even blamed the fit on my lipedema, though I’ve never had issues fitting standard Plus pants, leggings, hosiery, and never, ever coats. The proportion of space in the leg vs. the rest of the body is marked. My hips, bottom, waist, arms, chest, and everything else fits, with room to spare. I paid $270 for their coat, and sized up a whole size. If I can’t put it on once without damaging it too much to return it, they could at least let me say so, so someone my shape doesn’t make the same mistake. The appearance of the 2X coat is stylish and not unflattering, but it constricts my movement. Sleeping bag or barrel-like appearance or no, I would definitely have purchased a 3X (2 sizes up), as I will have to replace this coat soon. In the miraculous event that the zipper keeps working, I would still like a coat I can sit down in, without pressing my knees together and pulling all the material to the front.

Rechnungen können nicht nachvollzogen werden. Bei Kritik heisst es geht nicht anders. Unfreundlicher Service. So Schade.

Ich war mit früheren Bestellungen bei Eddie Bauer eigentlich sehr zufrieden. Ich muss jetzt mein Urteil revidieren. Die Beratung des Kundenservice zu Qualität und Größe der Kleidung ist schlecht. Eine negative Kundenrezension meinerseits wurde gar nicht erst veröffentlicht.
