I LOVE NORDSTROM’S!!!!

I LOVE NORDSTROM’S!!!!! I have their visa rewards card and love all the notes (free gift cards) they send me, their exceptional customer service, and the quality of their products. The half yearly sale is coming and I can’t wait!!!!

Came without original box or dust bags!…

I have had my eye on a pair of Bottega Veneta Bounce boots for some time but they were always out of stock in my size. I was quite excited to make the purchase and when I finally saw them on Nordstrom.com. When the shoes came in, the first thing I noticed was that they did not come in the original packing, i.e. Bottega green box nor did they have the dust bags that’s typically included with Bottega Veneta items. I was not happy nor satisfied with the condition of the presentation of the item in my order as they were just tossed in a brown shipping box as if they were previously returned. After reaching out to customer service I would given the option of just returning the boots or that they would send me a Nordstrom banned dust bag to compensate. After writing a review using a link send to me by then, I received a follow-up email that my review could not be published and that it had been moderated in which Nordstrom wanted me to remove all descriptive information about the item’s condition and packaging upon it’s arrival but rather focus on the sizing and appearance of the boots. Which substantiated the that fact that they didn’t care to take accountability for their short coming to even have sent out an item in that condition to a customer or to properly rectify the problem. Nordstrom needs to do better in delivering items as they are advertised, in a more complete and presentable fashion.

received a Nordstrom gift card as a gift; bought 3 dresses at N/Rack; returned all 3 & was told my refund would be as I paid - 90% on gift card + a small amt on a major credit card. The credit card refund came through + about a week later I attempted to use my gift card at the store only to be told "$0 balance" - after many inquiries I was told the refund would come in an e-gift card so I waited checking email often but at least 2 weeks passed + I again called CS "it was sent" I advised no such email from Nordstrom was in my inbox, spam, trash or any other folder + was then advised that the refund was sent by a 3rd party - an outside concern Nordstrom contracts with to handle refunds! So upon learning the name of the 3rd party I again scoured my inbox(es) for an email from THAT co. - none received so finally Nordstrom said they would resend it while I was on the phone with them I waited while they instructed the 3rd party to reissue the card + then waited even longer - nothing appeared in my inbox. NOW they say they are sending it but for "some unknown reason it couldn't be delivered to my email"!! so I gave my spouse's email address and it did finally appear there on 5/12. I attempted to use my e-gift card a few weeks later at the store and was told "$0 balance - it's been used already....the history shows it was used on 5/8" I didn't receive it until 5/12 so that's questionable. 20min.+ at the register while the very patient clerk and then an assistant mgr spoke with the 3rd party co. to resolve my issue. They sent it again + I check emails on my phone - nothing after another 20min At this point I am certain the 3rd party co. is running an eloquent scam & I am a victim. At this point most (annoyed + tired) people would have given up + they would be $90 (in my case) richer. I continued to demand a resolution + finally the g/card was sent to the a/mgr's email!! I used it for a few small items I was purchasing + thanked the women for their patience. I left the store + will not be returning

I have had the best customer service…

I have had the best customer service with on line shopping at Nordstrom over the years. I have always received the correct item in great packaging. Yes, delivery of pkg. may have an issue but Nordstrom Staff sends my purchases on a timely manner.It is the carrier service they use that needs to improve but I will track my pkg. and call UPS, USPS, etc. to speak to a rep on why my pkg. is late since now it is in their possession.YesterdayI received two Coach bags and they matched sale price of another store.
