Overstock Tracking Order Status

I’ve been a customer of Overstock for several years. I don’t understand all these negative reviews. I’ve ordered from overstock many times. I got a small table and chairs and some chairs were wobbly so they sent me a new set and I had to return the original…understandable. That was like four years ago. Three years ago I got a great deal on Adirondack chairs. No problems. Two years ago I got four beautiful stools for our island. No issues and a great deal. I also got ab amazing deal on a king bed. No problems. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

They're mostly good but one thing prevents them from being a 4 or 5 stars company, their return policy. I bought a chair, it arrived and was total trash, had a yellow stain on on the white center, legs were uneven, just garbage but on top of that, I get banged out for $22 to return it. With the risk of an online purchase not meeting expectations,I won't be buying anything again from Overstock if I'm on the hook for shipping costs.

Overstock has the product but not the shipper so I had to cancel this item...twice! The second time I ordered it I phoned Overstock and specifically asked if they had a shipper (it's a big item) and was told "shipper available". Well again a few days after placing the order I got the Overstock email stating the order is delayed and if it hasn't shipped after 30 days they would cancel the order. Am I really supposed to wait 30 days? I cancelled the order. My biggest complaint is that Overstock only cancels and refunds the merchandise amount. If you buy, as I did, a protection plan (Guardsman) you have to wait and keep track of that refund. Amazon refunds the total amount of the order. I no longer buy anything from Overstock that I want a protection plan for. Too much of a hassle.

I came here to leave a review for Overstock after my recent positive experience with them and I'm shocked to see all the negative reviews! I'm kinda glad I didn't see those reviews before I made my purchase with Overstock. I ordered a dining table and it was delivered to me with the tabletop broken in half (probably the fault of the shipping company). I contacted Overstock right away and after several emails back and forth with the Oversize department, they shipped me a new identical table. That's excellent customer service for me (or maybe I was just lucky :) )

Every time I look at Overstock, then search for the same thing, I find it less elsewhere. Copy and paste the heading of the item and search it. EVERY TIME you can find it for less. They are by far the less priced for same item. Same thing with Overstock. Don't be duped by the commercials and name.
