Tovala Tracking Order Status

I just tried it for the first time and I know customer service is great. The oven is not hard to set up but it could be for people who are not tech savvy. The meal that I had had no vegetables it was protein and carbs. It was also very small in size. It did not taste bad, but so far I am not extremely impressed.

Pros: The food is good. We've had it for about 6 months and enjoyed everything Cons: They screw up. In the early days, several packages were not delivered on time. Once, I received vacuum sealed chicken that was not sealed and leaked chicken juice all over everything else. We had to toss that meal and clean the others. We were credited for the one meal, but not for the shipping. Most recently, they left out the flatbread on TWO pizzas that we ordered. Again, they credited the meals (toward future orders), but here's the rub... the shipping for three meals was $9.99. They messed up two. So... I paid $10 to have one meal delivered??? Every time they mess up, I get hosed on the shipping AND I only get receive a credit toward future purchases? They keep the cash? I want to love this company, but I firmly believe that I shouldn't have to throw a fit in order to motivate a service provider to treat me fairly. If I had been treated fairly, I'd still be in love AND I would recommend to family and friends. But, with a track record like this? No way. For those keeping score, full refunds including a portion of the shipping charge is what SHOULD have happened. Future credits for only a portion of the screw up is not fair to the customer. I think we're done here.

I am now on my 4th week of using Tovala, I love the oven and I like the meals for the most part. The issue I have is with their horrible customer service--as has been echoed another reviewer. I had a meal that had spoiled food and they tried to blame me because I tried to eat it less than 24 hours after the expiration date. They didn't offer an apology, chided me for not eating the meal before it expired and offered me only "courtesy" refund. The expiration dates for their meals are so tight, many times you have less than one week from delivery to eat them before the go bad. I'm going to continue the meal plan until the oven is paid for and then reassess whether I want to do business with a company so callous about their service their customers--it points to a bad corporate culture. BTW, they also only post the 4-5 star reviews on their site so you can't trust them.

I have been using Tovala on and off and absolutely love it. When I’m not ordering meals I use the oven more than my actual oven because it heats up fast and is the perfect size for cooking for one or two people. I end up spending just as much money trying cook for myself, and these meals are only about ten bucks each which isn’t bad. It really helps me eat healthy as well.

This is a very legitimate company. If you have any questions about the products, you can reach them in less than one minute, on chat. And the agents are smart and super helpful. The smart oven they sell is fantastic, compared to a conventional oven. I'm very excited about my oven. It arrived on time, with great communication from the company, and it performs VERY well. A smart oven wakes your food up and makes it taste as good as possible. I love this thing. They also offer a meal plan that works with the oven. It's ok. Won't knock your socks off. But the meals arrive on time and the website to order them is amazing. The whole company is amazing.
