AcuRite – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

The accurite access point that I paid extra for is useless. It has no wifi capability and it has to be hard connected to the modem. The station constantly drops offline with weather underground. I will not buy accurite again.

I am looking at my "LAST" Acurite weather station. Ordered the Acurite over priced indoor/outdoor weather station. Outside wind unit failed well under a year. Replaced, and now the outdoor unit failed again.

Totaly sucks for customer service

I have never been as disappointed in a company as I am with AcuRite. Their support technician knew that they would not honor their warranty but had me tear the brand new, outdoor sensor apart, take pictures of the components, just to tell me that I had to spend another $100, as they would not honor the warranty on the new, faulty unit. Then, to get support on the display unit, support sent me to a FAQ that had dead links embedded in it and, again did nothing but apologize for their poorly operational products. BEWARE

By far the very WORST company in existence today !!!! They get the "academy award" for the most horrible deceptive company around !!!! I purchased one of their weather stations about a year ago that they advertised as one of their most "durable" weather stations they sell. About 6 months later I started having signal connection problems and then inaccurate readings. I discovered quickly that there is no customer service number to call and contact is only by email. Then, when you inform them of the problems you are having they email you a whole list of very time consuming steps for you the BUYER/ CUSTOMER to go through to try to fix THEIR product !! I ended up purchasing a new temperature sensor per their suggestion which fixed the problem for about a month and then I was back to square one. Same old problem and money out of pocket for nothing. I gave up at that point and just left it alone. Today I gathered everything Acurite up and literally threw everything in my trash can for this Tuesday's trash pick up. Never again and moving forward I will be advertising and sharing my story on social media to get the word out about this criminal shyster company. I also just purchased a new Ambient WS - 5000 which is supposed to be a much better company with much better products. Time will tell as it always does. It should be ILLEGAL for companies like Acurite to be in business in my opinion so just sayin !! I might add their positive Google reviews I'm convinced are FAKE and DECEPTIVE based on my own experience and the comments I am seeing here.
