First of all when I originally placed my order and confirmed cost I was pretty happy. Delivery day came for them to announce the £30 delivery fee. Then to be told it is not longer a morning delivery and can be up until 3pm. I was told at 410pm they would be with me within 40 Min. They showed up at 7pm. The guy bright the bed in and went to leave. When I said I was told the bed would be built and I got my phone to show this. He then started to make a call and pushed me into a door as he stormed past me. I yelled out and he then said oh sorry.he knew exactly what he was doing. Just didn't count on me making contact with the company about it. He goes through to build the bed he said there's no space. All he was to do was lift a single mattress in its side that's it. So he done that, build the bed including putting the feet in with the plastic still on it. He brought the wrong headboard but my daughter did decide she was ok with the one she got anyway. I messaged Allan the guy who I've dealt with for nearly a week who said he will investigate. He came back to tell me the driver and his partner for the sack. Do I believe that? Not at all. I requested the delivery fee refunded and was refused. So now I'm going to have to go through the police and report an assault. Allan said they have security checks on their delivery guys but I very much doubt it if the guy can't even build a bed without getting upset.

Horrible. Deivery was 5 hours late. Base and mattress smells like literal s**t and he doesn’t reply.

Bed got delivered 1st February side panel had damage to it and slight flaw on foot end, matress was very poor quality, contacted the owner ali and asked for refund which was denied as he said because off covid, he offered too bring replacement sides and upgraded mattress at an extra cost to myself, explained that I was within my rights under the consumer rights act, still refused refund, promised to deliver replacement sides and mattress on Saturday the 5th February, waited in all day, numerous phone calls back and forth to then being ignored!! Absoloute shocking service! So basically been left with a bed thats not fit for purpose!! Avoid this company, they also trade under numeourous names so be aware,

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! Bedman/Mattressman hold good variety of stock but the customer service is practically non-existent. We Pre-ordered a Birlea bed waited more than 8 weeks for it to arrive. This was 2 more than we were told originally. Bed was damaged and customer service was shocking! Bedman didn't even contact when it was in stock! My partner had to call to ask why the website showed stock but we hadn't received ours, yet they had taken our money 8 weeks prior?! Bed arrived and boxes were damaged, tried to call customer service...no answer. Opened boxes to inspect and bed was slightly damaged, called customer service for advice...No answer. Decide to build bed and cam dowl snaps so we cannot finish building bed, call customer service...no answer AGAIN, so we call the sales team. Customer services get back but they are the sister company Mattressman. Very unhelpful staff. Their words are "they are overworked and under staffed"...which given our experience, I can certainly believe. However, this attitude certainly trickles down and its the customer who inevitably suffers! It took days and still no resolution, so I use my initiative and call manufacturer to get part. It takes 15min and I have a solution so I let customer service team know. The manufacturer informs me the damage must be reported through supplier so I need to pay £16 for the cam dowl pack which should be refunded by Bedman. Almost 12 weeks after and we finally get resolution from bedman they refunded the £16 and offered a pathetic £24 compensation for inconvience and damage to the bed. This wouldn't even cover all time it took me dealing with customer services, had I been able to charge them an hourly rate for my time!! Terrible, not worth the hassle dealing with them. If you have a issue then you practically on your own to find resolution.

First bedframe was broken, so I refused delivery. A replacement was due to come on monday by 1PM. Didnt arrive.Called cust services but they were busy so I was put through to Sales, they took my details, said someone from cust services would call back. I called them 3 times that day, apparently they were too busy going through emails from the weekend. Said I wanted to cancel but I couldnt do that til I got through to customer services anyway! Called again on tuesday morning, still busy. Asked for delivery company and ref no. so i could call them myself- delivery company informed me that the headboard was broken so they didnt send it out! Cust services finally got back to me, just apologised, like that would make a difference- i still dont have a bed! If bedman called the delivery company instead of trying to get through to cust services, it would have saved alot of time and hassle! If you dont have enough staff, employ more- its simple. The cust should't have to lose out because someone cant do their job! I've now lost 2 days wages and still dont have a bed! I was told that no compensation is offered for loss of earnings which is "clearly stated in our terms & conditions!" Save yourself the hassle, go with someone else!! I wish I did.
