Do NOT do business with this “company!”

I paid $300 for 2 pair of glasses (one red and one brown) at the NOHO Urban Outfitters with Marina. She takes the prescription from the Warby Parker glasses I’m currently wearing. She tells me they will arrive in 1.5 weeks. 1. They don’t arrive in that time frame. I receive no communication from them. I try to email several times and get no response. 2. I finally receive my glasses and instead of red, I have a pair of tortoise glasses. 3. I try to wear them and they are absolutely incorrect. I’m dizzy and disoriented while wearing them. I can’t tell the distance of things correctly and I become nauseous. 4. I try and contact them again which takes several emails before I get a response. Finally Marina calls me. She seems frustrated that I hadn’t contacted her directly. She then proceeds to tell me that I did want the tortoise. She says I didn’t say I wanted red. I tell her it’s fine, I’d be returning them anyway because the prescription is off. She offers to fix them for me but I explain that I’d rather just return them because trying to communicate with them is too much of a hassle and not something I want to do again. 5. I send them back and the real hell begins. They tell me they are charging me a restocking fee which I read on the receipt. However I’m not expecting them to charge me because it was their mistake. I’m not willing to pay for glasses that I cannot see out of. This is not a matter of me changing my mind and deciding I don’t like them or didn’t need them. Regardless of them sending the wrong color or being difficult to communicate with, the bottom line is that I can’t SEE OUT OF THE GLASSES! 6. I’ve now been on the phone with them for 3 days arguing with everyone who keeps saying “we can’t give you a full refund but we can correct them at no charge to you.” I tell them I don’t want them corrected because I don’t trust them to make my glasses. They then requested that I get my prescription sent to them because I have to prove that I can’t see out of them. Insane. But I do it. Though some of the numbers on my original prescription don’t match up to what they’d written in store, they say that they did it correctly and I should be able to see. How are you offering to correct my glasses and in the same breath claiming that they are already correct? It doesn’t make any sense. They’ve now accused me of lying twice. They’re asking me to jump through hoops to prove that I can’t see. They now want a SECOND document of proof of my prescription even though they’re claiming that the prescription I gave them the last time is what they took from glasses at the store. I’ve never had such bad customer service in my life. There is no reason I should have to go through all of this because my glasses were made incorrectly. This company has displayed a lack of integrity and respect for its customers. From all of the other similar experiences I’ve read about here, it’s clear that they are fraudulent. They’ve not even responded to the terrible experiences that people have posted here and that is proof of their lack of respect and integrity. They don’t care to do what’s right. They can’t make glasses and instead of improving their process they are ignoring their customers and asking them to pay for their mistakes. I don’t believe this is a legitimate company and I strongly urge you to avoid business with them. If you read reviews anywhere you’ll see far too many of similar experiences. They’re thieves.

I passed by one of their locations and purchased two set of Rx glasses on 5/31. I was told they would be ready in 7 days and we're going into the 3rd week and no glasses. I really hope I get them soon and that I don't have any of the issues mentioned here :/

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. Pushy salesperson who kept making me try on glasses she picked out who charged me $85 extra for premium lenses without even asking if I wanted them. Then when I went to pick them up, I waited a half hour before the guy returned and said he had been making a "personal call". And only after I discovered the glasses slid down my nose every five seconds and couldn't be adjusted to fit better did they inform me they charge a 35% restocking fee. So I'm stuck with $230 glasses that don't fit. Should have gone with Warby Parker.
