Does everything it should. A little bit noisy, I dont know if that would bother neighbors, but for me its fine (using headphones). I love that it is foldable and very small / flat. finally I am able to get my 12k steps in. Very grateful for this walking pad and already recommended it to a friend.
This product exceeded my expectations. I could never have imagined that a portable, foldable treadmill could be so wonderful for my home workout. I bought the WalkingPad to train for the marathon I'm going to run in August, because I live in a very cold country and I don't like to feel like I'm the owner of the treadmill at the gym. I am simply in love with my R1 Pro 2in1. I would suggest improving the stability of the blade as I feel it moves a bit when I'm running but it's not something that gets in the way of training. If I could go back a few weeks in time, I would definitely buy the WalkingPad R2 Walk&Run 2in1, because, in addition to being prettier and with a modern look, it certainly gives more stability for the runner and, in addition, it supports a greater user's weight. I sincerely hope that KingSmith chooses me to test their new product in April. I became a fan of the brand and want to test the products first hand and, far beyond that, I will advertise the brand so that more people can have access to this product that promotes well-being and health.
After purchasing my WalkingPad in January, I’ve used it every single day and I love it. I mainly use it under my standing desk while I’m working and I easily get 10k steps in a day. Lately it’s been more like 20k. It’s quiet, so I can still make calls and it’s easy to store and move around too, which is great for our small apartment. I love it.
I love the walking pad. I use it at work to keep moving and from sitting all day. The only issue I have is I spend most of my workday reading and there is no place to hold a tablet, book, or paper. Otherwise, the walking pad is perfect!
Pros - size and walking speed up to 3.75 is great for putting under my existing desk (don't need to buy a new one) and fast enough to break a sweat. Cons - needs to aggregate walking steps and distance when get on/off or stop for a period of time (ie to answer the door, go to bathroom, etc.) where i can see my aggregated steps and distance for the day. Also, the 'Automatic' start / advanced mode does not work on my machine (ProA-1) . Would also like it to synch with 'Stepz' app on iPhone for total health/distance.
I ordered the basic version of the WalkingPad. it is heavier to move around than I expected. It does operate smoothly, but for my frame, and stride, I find it to be a bit narrow. It also accelerated unexpectedly. I could not figure out how to slow it down using the foot controls. I ended up having to leap off of it to stop it. I am confident this is user error. The WalkingPad does not work like the treadmill you might be used to. Reading the instructions and taking it slow is my advice for those of us who are less coordinated. I might also buy the bar attachment for added safety. I wish it came in black to better hide away.
I work from home and am on zoom calls for 9-10 hours a day. I have been really pleased with how often I use the walking pad. I walk during meetings and am averaging between 2-3 hours a day which has made a significant increase in my daily movement. It's a little loud my office is on the second floor and my husband says he can hear it downstairs when it's in use. I would love to see some investment in the app and integration with apple watch/fitness app - the app itself is very limited in functionality and I'm not sure it's translating directly to apple - possibly double counting or not counting if my arms aren't moving while walking. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and hopeful they will invest in the apple integration.
I purchased the X21, because I wanted to be able to walk in the early morning and evening, regardless of the weather. The running belt is a little narrow and the handrail could be a little higher for my height. Other than that, I am very pleased!
