Same as other people, they have charged me but I do not have a membership. They never got back to me, i dont know how to stop them taking money.
I can't reach customer service. I tried 3 times already. I canceled my subscription but they still invoiced me. The only thing from their side is total silence ... very frustrating. Phone lines don't even go to a ring.
Horrible, horrible experience. Customer support simply won’t respond over email or phone. They just charge you for the entire year with no message or communication about the subscription - but will be sure to bombard you with all kinds of promotional content. I recently bought some clothes as well and the quality is POOR compared to Lulu or even sweaty betty (while being 1.2-1.5x the price). Clearly they’re just a bunch of scammers with no care for their customers but only the influencers that promote their crap on instagram. Never purchasing anything from them - neither their digital services nor their pathetic, overpriced clothes. AVOID!
Cancellation of the digital subscription is extremely poor and the subsequent customer service is practically non responsive!! Due to circumstances I never used the last year’s annual subscription and this year, before I delete the app, I ensured that I cancel my annual subscription. A charge appeared in December and I have been trying to get hold of the support team for almost 1m - no response whatsoever!! I loved the retail brand, and found the online service ok, but I didn’t expect this extremely poor customer service handling… DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!
I've cancelled but they keep trying to charge me. No response from support despite multiple requests. Just bad practice.
No notice before renewal. And messages sent to the support are systematically ignored. A response would be the least they could do, but it seems that Alomoves doesn't care about their customers. We are nothing more than a money inflow, period. Don't count on them for any follow-up or concern. Avoid at all costs.
I have zero respect for companies who do not give customers a heads up before an annual subscription renews. I literally see ads daily for 50% off annual membership, but I, a loyal customer of nearly two years am charged full price without any notice 3 days before Christmas. It's just shady business practice, send an email 2 weeks before it's due so people can prepare. And offer existing customers the same deal.
I personally love this app. A wide variety of workouts to suit every level, intensity and time frame. The instructors are generally very good and the quality of workouts great. The meditation and all the well-being elements are also great. I do find it a bit expensive. But also recognize it’s a lot cheaper than a gym and there’s hundreds of new videos every month. I do think that they need to improve the filtering options (hands free, or wrist friendly workout, or postpartum recovery etc) but I expect that will come in time as they continue to improve the app.
I’m so disappointed with Alo Moves. I have been charged incorrectly for my annual subscription and no-one has responded to my emails or messages. They’re a big money making machine who don’t care about their dedicated subscribers.
I am loving this app the third year now! Ashley's classes are just divine. With 199USD for the annual subscription it is a bit pricy but totally worth it.
