Stuck in trial mode. I used to really like this app but I've had these issues before in switching to a new computer. You have to deauthorize the old account. The last time it was stuck like this for me, I had to deal with their virtually non-existent service. Back to Equalizer APO for me. It's free.

I purchased their Boom3D software about two years ago, registered to my Facebook login and used it. Then I changed computers and needed to reinstall it. However they disabled Facebook logins (app not recognized). I wrote to them about five times telling them about the problem. My impression is that they did it as a way to boost business to get people to repurchase another copy using a different login method. Too bad because otherwise, the software works well.

I have purchased Boom 3D on Android, Windows and Mac. It's very good. You get two activations with each purchase, but they are not cross-platform. Who cares; the software is cheap. Almost always on sale for one reason or another. Customer service not great, Android version has some egregious bugs that have never been fixed.

Just bought Boom 3D at a special promotion price last month and I can easily say I really wouldn't mind paying full price! I don't really know much about the company, but they seem to have some amazing apps. Had a very minor niggle during the initial installation but their customer support team is very helpful and had me sorted out in a matter of minutes :) 11/10 would recommend!

Boomr definitely makes a difference in sound quality and it is perfectly clear when coming out of the little speaker in my Macbook. If there is a negative, I would say it increases the volume on everything so that when I use my in-ear headphones at the most quiet level, they are still too loud for me and that's annoying. Recently, I figured out that you can control when boomr is applied to other apps (ie. VLC, safari, chrome, system sounds...) and I turned it off for everything except for VLC and iTunes. A little bit of a hassle because it only shows options for programs that are open. As I get it trained, it should be much, much better. Anyway, it was a little tricky to figure it out. Besides that, I really love the sound that I get with Boomr and it is worth the effort to have movies/music sound like I am listening in a studio.
