OXO – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I bought the salt & pepper grinders because they are one of the few that use ceramic for their grinding surfaces. We didn't want plastic because the plastic particles end up in your food. Anyways, after years of use, the pepper grinder broke. I wrote to the company & sent pictures, they IMMEDIATELY got me a replacement. No arguing or anything, they were great to work with. Because of this experience, now my kids went out and bought the OXO salt & pepper grinders. Great, quality product too.

I had the 12 pound pull-out kitchen scale that I used with no problem for about 5 years. It was supposed to weigh down to 1 gram but would not give a read-out until 2 grams were placed on it. I report this and they asked me to send a picture of the date on the inside of the battery panel, which I did. They send they would replace it but recommended the 5 pound scale that weighs in tenth grams. They send a new scale of my original 12 pound pull-out version. I reported to them that it had the same problem and also, I thought they were sending the 5 pound/gram scale. The sent the gram scale and told me to donate the other one or give it away. WOW...that is so customer service.

I had a problem with my food scale. I contacted customer service and after sending a picture of my scale they sent me a new one at no cost. Great company and customer service.

I buy OXO for their quality and their great pieces. All of the products I have from them have been pretty good hence why I keep buying from them. However, I had an issue with their cocktail shaker where the base suddenly got wobbly out of nowhere and warped. It doesn't sit flat on any surfaces anymore. I thought OXO would be helpful or at least send me a new base (I would be willing to pay for shipping if it's reasonable). However, they responded to me asking me for my physical address, so they could make a label and asked me to send this $20 cocktail shaker to them so they could "investigate". While I do understand this is a solution, this is absolutely convoluted and silly. The shipping costs, packaging costs, time wasted and carbon footprint would cost more in the long-run than to just send in a new base/cup for the cocktail shaker. I think the products are great, the website is easy to browse and customer service did respond quickly to me and very kindly too. But this process of resolving a defective product is just so silly.
