Newspapers – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

While I had the initial complaint with Newspapers.com in February in March I looked into the result of the credits issued. Any reaction only came after my complaint on Trustpilot was viewed by Ancestry/Newspapers.com. I was contacted by the Ancestry person on this site in response. Also It does seem the credits came from the customer service person at Ancestry. It is obvious there is a relationship between both parties and I found one business thru the other. While I can easily look it up what matters is the fact was that while I had a problem it was resolved. Trustpilot served as the intermediary in this dispute. Positive results with all parties happy.

Just this week I made a mistake with this website believing it would charge in AUD as opposed to USD. I used the one week free trial and then realised that before I was able to cancel my subscription I was charged for a full year ($122 AUD). On Sunday I sent an email explaining my situation and the transaction statement and by Tuesday I was refunded in full in AUD. Wonderful prompt service.

That's a wonderful explanation that I hadn't found before! If that's what it says in the contract conclusion declarations, maybe it shouldn't just be in English. To be fair, I would like to emphasize that after the cancellation I received the money back immediately.

Signed up for 7-day trial. Could not find any articles, I was searching. Kept getting message check back later. Next day I emailed asking to cancel subscription. 2 days later, I received an email stating I did not have an account. On 3/3/22 there was $74.90 debit to my bank account. Have emailed again trying to settle this issue, no response, Called Ancestry Spoke to Supervisor Jassa. She said "this is a 3rd party company. Ancestry has no control over them, no access to their record or fund. Newspaper.com does not have a phone. there is no one there. They just check messages" # I Was contacted by Lana. She discovered my email address was wrong in their records. This is why they couldn't find my information or contact me. She cancelled the subscription and refunded my $74.90. Thank you, Lana for the Great job,

Newspaper.com has been a true blessing to me and a number of others who I have shared various news articles regarding family and friends. So many questions of the past have been addressed after years of not knowing. Is Newspapers.com perfect. No. Who is. A real must for those who are attempting to fill in the blanks regarding the past of family members and others. Thank you.
