All around great service!

I have to say I'm confused by the low reviews. I've had Chime for a few years now and have always loved it! Not having to pay a $30+ fee for a few buck oversight is amazing! Boosting friends, sending money to them, moving money between accounts and so much more is so easy! I love that you can turn off your cards individually within the app and back on whenever needed. I love the credit builder card for budgeting and for little boosts for on time payments to the bureaus. I've even had to deal with a false charge and they gave a temporary credit while researching so the hardship would be limited. I wish they would add the ability to search for transactions but that's basically my only complaint!

Chime started out as a great bank (customer since 2020), and that's saying a lot because I switched from a credit union. Over time though, they began rolling out buggy feature after buggy feature, taking months to get features working correctly. Given that this is people's money they are playing with, every feature should be fully functional the day it is rolled out. I'm sick and tired of broken/buggy features, updates that break working features, and customer service that has no power to fix anything. I've also had experiences in which I've CSA said they couldn't fix the issue, and upon calling back the next agent could fix the issue. On top of that, their fee for out of network ATMs is crazy high.

I been using chime for 26 months now and any time I have problems and need answers they are very helpful. I like that I get paid earlier on my monthly check and the spot me app is also good
