Customer Service does not read/listen to requests. So much back and forth to cancel an order and they still shipped it!

I added products to my shopping cart and used the 15% first purchase coupon. I didn't notice that because of the coupon being applied, that I had to now pay for shipping. As soon as I noticed that I had to pay for shipping (I hate paying for shipping), I emailed them asking if I can cancel my order i had placed minutes ago so that I can re-order and order more things to meet the free shipping quota. I went back and forth so many times via email with the customer service asking if they could cancel my order and reinstate the 15% code so I can use it to place a new order. At first, the agent offered me 15% off. I thought, if that covers the shipping cost, then fine. I had mentioned in the very first email I had used the 15% off coupon and wanted to cancel my order after realizing I was paying for shipping but wanted to reinstate the 15% promo code so I can place a new order. The agent did not read my emails because after many more emails, they noticed I had already used the 15% coupon and said he couldn't give that discount to me. I said, fine, then cancel my order and he said he would. Then I get a notification that it's been shipping and that it's arriving today! I sent them an angry email saying I had requested this to be cancelled and had already spoken to their customer service many many times about this. Now, I'm being told it's be re-routed to them and my order is cancelled but we'll see if they credit my card back. Their customer service is so lacking that I don't know if I want to re-order their products. It looks cute online but not worth the hassle of 15 emails back and forth to cancel

Dubious customer service. Very challenging to get a refund from this company

I liked the design of the weekender bag so purchased it. Most of the bag uses a heavy canvas material except for the corners of the separate wet storage which uses a cheap (and not very endurable looking) vinyl. I thought it would be best to return it. Although I am still able to return it (within the 45 day return policy) they will not return the full cost of the item minus the $10 CAD handling and $24 shipping costs which would refund $114.74 to my card from the original cost of $148.74. Instead they only want to return $80. They are dragging out the process so the deadline to get a refund will expire soon. I am not sure if they are dishonest or incompetent but either way I think I will not get my refund. I would totally avoid this company. Their product is cheap and their customer service is dubious. UPDATE: I did get my refund (minus shipping and minus $10 restocking fee) after 10 emails spread over a week. It was a hassle.

Great Service

Saw lots of unfavorable reviews somewhere. So I emailed customer service with questions. My experience was more than favorable. I first asked questions online with Ana that were answered immediately. I placed my order on Friday and my purchase was delivered today (Tuesday) with daily delivery update. Very happy with the product and customer service!

Poor Quality - Spend your money on a real travel brand

I’ve purchased hard shell luggage from this company that was extremely low quality. With the first use of the luggage, the scale didn’t work. Customer Service told me sometimes it doesn’t work which is a disappointing response for a $300 piece of luggage. In packing for my second travel with the luggage, I noticed that a button inside the luggage popped off making one of the pieces useless. Their customer service told me their quality team said it’s from “wear and tear” and all they could offer me was a 15% refund. All of this for a piece of luggage I used once and is well under a year old. This company overcharges for poor quality and knows it evidenced by the fact that they don’t stand by the quality of their products. If you’re between Beis, Away, or any other reputable travel brand, choose the other brand. UPDATE: I am bumping the rating from 1 to 3 stars as Beis’ customer service did right by me and are replacing the faulty luggage.
