Be very wary of their return policy

This has nothing to do with the mattress. Simply it was not a good match for my wife and me. Rather this is 100% to do with this companies lack of adhering to its stated policy regarding returns listed on its own website. We are now (2) weeks from when the mattress was picked up from the firm that they use. No issuance of a refund and the only correspondence received was acknowledgement of the return when WE reached out. Why is the (2) weeks important? This is their claim via email that it takes to receive a refund. Which by the way is NOT listed on their website.

Not made to order! You might get an old mattress from a cancelled order!

We purchased a Nolah mattress back in 9/11/21. Mattress is made to order, it took 7 business days to receive. Box was falling apart from old glue, mattress in a roll but had a hole in the middle of it not wrapped. Box falling apart, so had to move the mattress in the bedroom. Removing the saran wrap plastic, the other plastic was already coming apart at its seams, no scissors required on this one. Something is wrong here. Real slow expanded and it took some time, though it didn’t expand all the way up. Inspecting the mattress, looked at the law tag it was made in 7/8/21! 2 months earlier! Reaching out via email, asking if mattresses are made to order, it says so on their site too. Customer service email said, yes. Well, this mattress is 7/8/21. Pictures were sent verifying it was. No response back from her. I was looking at the box it came in, stickers of the order number and address, our address sticker was slapped on top of another one. It says the same thing 7/8/21 when we peel it off! Jamie reached out via email, trying to get to the bottom of what happened, looking into production, sent pictures again showing our label beside the old July label. This old mattress sent to us was not made to order. We didn’t want the mattress, they lied and really deceived in throwing our new label on an old mattress in a box? How can that happen if they are supposedly made to order? Let you think on that one, what you think? He reached out with a resolution of sending back and refund or keep mattress for half off. We chose to send it back, bad taste in the mouth on this ordeal. He got a hold of Sharetown local pickup, they are just one person no competition. Person not reliable, excuses, no show, from past dealings with the only person in the region. It happened again, didn’t show up, said family emergency heard that before. So, reaching out to Jamie, he was insistent on Sharetown using them, not going to happen. We said, Loadup they will show up. He finally did. Loadup picked it up 10/6/21 and got the refund same day, which Jamie did do what he said he was going to. Their excuse of what happened, mattress was a cancelled order, but why would you send a mattress to a customer a 2 month old mattress that was already dead in a warehouse? Site says: How long can I keep Nolah in the box? We recommend up to 30 days. You could store the Nolah mattress longer, but why would you, when you can sleep on it and enjoy some of the best sleep you ever had! Can I pickup my Nolah mattress? No, you can't. Sorry. All Nolah mattresses are produced and shipped directly from our factories to your front door. There is no warehouse or pickup location where Nolah mattresses are stored for pick up. This is to reduce cost on warehousing and inventory so we can pass on the savings to our customers instead. Why is my order status not being updated online? Because your new Nolah Mattress has not yet left our factory. Once it ships from the factory, we update your order and send you the FedEx Tracking Number, so you can follow it all the way from the factory to your front door. If you are looking at a website, all good reviews and you can’t look at any bad ones or have to dig for it and like most mattress online companies, they will take out a lot of bad reviews or don't post them, not legit anyway. Another tip: look at your mattress law tag, make sure you are getting what you paid for. If it is old and not made to order, surely it not going to feel good or eventually won't last long after the trial. Take pictures of everything. I wish I could post pictures, my review is on other sites to verify.

Buyer beware

This company makes fanciful claims, and they pretend to be do-gooders. For example, they tell you straight away that they donate to wildlife and to hospitals. They claim that you have a trial period, during which you can return the mattress free of charge. In fact, they tell you they will come pick up the mattress should you not like it. They make you feel very comfortable making such a big purchase. The markup for this item is incredible by the way, which is how they can afford to donate returns. Unfortunately it didn't go well for me. This mattress wasn't soft or plush. It was so firm, that even with a mattress topper, it gave me a ton of back pain. Slept on it for a month and nothing improved. I'm a side sleeper (mattress is advertised specifically as FOR side sleepers) and my shoulder has been killing me since. It's not just firm, it has a very strange feel. After making the decision to return it, they immediately sent an excuse; due to Covid-19 they can't get a charity to come pick it up for 3 weeks. They even added a comment in the email about it being much longer than 3 weeks. That little comment convinced me that this company is very unethical. I knew this was nonsense because I had no issues with multiple deliveries during this time. I bought this mattress WHILE Covid-19 was going on, and they had zero problems shipping it. Seeing that they were using the pandemic as an excuse to leave us with the mattress, we instantly made a claim with Paypal. A company that acts this way is not above backing out of their promises. They even tried to convince us to keep it in our "spare room" while they give a 50% refund. Not only do we not have a spare room, this was just insulting because it was clear they were going to do whatever they could not to honor their promises. It took all but 5 minutes, and I found a local charity that could come pickup the mattress within 6 days. Obviously, they lied about the 3 weeks wait. After the claim was processed, I received a phone call from one of their team members. She was very rude and condescending, and basically tried to get me to cancel the Paypal claim. Due to a miscommunication, we had to reschedule the pickup to a later week. They are on their way right now. I will continue to update and detail how difficult they are from here on out. The reason I posted this review on Trustpilot is because they did not publish my review on their site despite sending me an email inviting me to review their mattress. I am going to assume that this company has many more negative reviews that they refused to post on their site. I have to move this heavy king size mattress myself because the charity could not do that. I have to arrange this return myself, and have been stuck for weeks with a mattress that is causing me pain. They will make the return so burdensome for you, which is why I cannot recommend this mattress to anyone despite the fact that my spouse found it somewhat comfortable.
